Shipping to Vermont (USA)?

Hey guys. I was wondering if anybody could chime in here. I have searched, but found nothing so far. I would like to have maybe 5 rolls sent to Vermont (USA). Northerner told me Vermont has stopped all shipping of tobacco products. So I was thinking of ordering from Snus Central instead, since they have a good reputation with many of you. What do you think would be the most reliable place to order from?

From what I know snuscentral and buysnus will ship to the places northerner won't so you should be fine. One of the US members will prob help you more or confirm one way or another.

You can go ahead and place the order.........if they won't shipp it will be kicked out or canceled at some point during the process.....so no risk there

It is once it ships that there is a risk

That said if the only shipping option is UPS........UPS will not be allowed (by Vermont state law) to accept it.

Best bet is to send it to a relative/friend and have them re-box it and forward it to you

Thanks, Skell18. I certainly wouldn't want to place an order and have it confiscated. That would suck big time. Anybody else with some input, perhaps having snus successfully sent to a state that prohibits tobacco shipping?

Hey, one more question. I have read varying comments, both positive and negative, about Northerner. Is this company worth ordering from, as far as timely shipping and getting fresh snus goes?

It really varies, personally I have never had a problem with them, orders have always arrived, some took a little longer than others but never had any problems other than when certain snus has arrived it has been close to expiring, either the day I received it or within a week of receiving it or expired during shipping. That really does annoy me about Northerner sometimes!

Hmm, i am thinking of order from some members here then or from Snus Central. Snus Central is expensive to ship, but it sounds like they have their act together.
Premium Parrots sounds like a reliable guy. Any other members here that one can count on?

I was wondering the same thing. My guess is you could probably find something similar to snus in Mexico for 50c a can.

I am going on a vacation here soon to see my family in Vermont for a couple weeks, and I would rather have snus than copenhagen. The only thing I can find here is copenhagen (ordering it from the north of Mexico), and that costs about 10 bucks a can without shipping!

Honestly, I dont think your going to find anything better than the birdman on here. His markup is minimal and he takes pride on getting the goods delivered. He is doing this as a way to help the forum members and not make a living. I don't use him because my state taxes are somewhat reasonable but I wouldn't hesitate to order from him if I needed to.

Well, i gotta say you guys surely are a great bunch. Very helpful . I think I will go ahead and use Parrot when I get back to Mexico then in a few weeks. I just wanna make sure that customs doesn't bite me in the ass again, as it has done 2 times already using UPS. And the normal Post Office (or Customs going the post office route?) here likes to take their sweet time sending stuff out.

I was just burned by this here in VT and that's how I ended up in this forum. Garcia's on Church St in Burlington sells General for 6.99 per. I'm going to talk to him about carrying a few others when I stop in there over the next few days.

$6.99 per tin - sounds like your tobacco shops there suck almost as bad as the ones near me.
