    Placed an order with Premium Snus and it is showing that it is still pending, is that normal?

    Anyone want to take a bet that I get my snus from Premium snus before I hear anything from Northerner?

      premiumsnus took a couple days for a tracking number...but it came to my house, FAST.

        That's pretty much all I need to know. I'm used to it showing "shipped" sooner.
        I figured everything was ok because the funds have already been taken out of my account.

        I've been gone for a while, but what happened to Northerner, I can't get my age verified or get in touch with anyone there.
        I have a feeling I'm just screwed and it's time to move on to another source.

          premiumsnus took my money too then a couple days later (or sooner) sent an email with tracking number and it was here within 4 days I believe.

            Sounds good to me. I just may have found my new supplier then.
            With me being in Texas I figure 5 or 6 days to get here, but everything I ordered was in stock so I'm more than happy to wait an extra day or two.

              It took me four days to get my order from premiumsnus. Was very pleased with them. And $20 shipping? Winner winner chicken dinner.

                Hi guys,
                Since the EU ban much have changed as you guessed, we now only ship from our US warehouse. We have employed more people at the US warehouse and unfortunately will have to let several people leave at the Swedish office. We will arrange a new US customer support with a 800 number to call.

                I do understand that some prefer to pay taxfree snus, but for us it just feel unfair and we hope that the US custom will soon do their job (what I have read in the news). Both US and foreign companies have to follow the Pact Act - beleive me we have checked with several lawyers in Washington. We wanted to find out because if no foreign company needed to follow the Pact Act we planned to switch Northerner.com to another Swedish company.

                With all respect, everything we do is only beneficial for US cummunity - more US people employed and US investment, more tax money to Uncle Sam (whatever we feel about that).

                  You hope U.S. customs does their job? What's that, being tobacco nazi's?
                  Not to sound like an ass, but I'm sure you do hope they turn into jack boot thugs. With the recent drama in Europe over selling snus, that would give you guys a nice little corner on snus sales wouldn't it?
                  There's nothing wrong with wanting to be top dog, that's just the way businesses work, but what about us people who are left ass out? Ever think you are hurting some of us?
                  What about the people who have tried to get help (me included) and don't hear a peep?
                  Before I got shipped all over this damn rock I ordered from Northerner on a regular basis, and now I can't. I used your helpdesk which told me it had a 5 hour turnaround time, that was about 24 hours ago. How hard is it to tell me that I need to show a photo I.D. or something?

                  I can't speak for everyone, but I for one will not place another order with Northerner until you get your crap together. I think keeping people informed of the problems instead of sitting on your hands would speak volumes.

                    It seems my ticket from the help desk has finally been replied to, and hopefully I have provided what I needed to in order to settle the matter.
                    Thank you Emma, tell them you deserve a raise if this works out.
                    I am man enough to apologize if I offended anyone, that was not my intention, but I believe and as evidenced by some posts here, there are some major customer service issues.
                    Hopefully by increasing staff, inventory size, and providing a help number for people everything will straighten out.

                        Did Northerner's post here really say that he wanted customs to do their job? That is, help them corner the market for snus here in the U.S.?

                        Because that is exactly what I took away from his post. What a jagoff. I guess that one post truly reveals Northerner's soul. Just another corporate scallywag doing whatever they can to increase the profit margin. Well anything they can, except run a tight ship and eliminate their own poor service.

                        And don't give me the spiel about them being such great guys for opening a warehouse here in the U.S. "so we can serve our American friends while still complying with the PACT" b.s.
                        Dollars to donuts Northerner is whispering in some government guy's ear about how much tax money he's losing from snus shipped from Sweden by Northerner's competition, and how the government should crack down.
                        Northerner won't get a dime outta me.

                        And by the way Northerner, it isn't "tax free snus" we order from Sweden, it is snus bought with the express agreement that the buyer is responsible for all taxes owed. If the buyer chooses not to pay it that has nothing to do with the seller. And frankly, it is none of your business.

                        The Swedish companies like premiumsnus and buysnus sell fresh goods and deliver in a timely manner, unlike you. Obviously, your own failures have led you to grasping at straw excuses like "how unfair" the other guys are.

                          Wow He really just said that. I looked Northerner up before they have very few employees it is listed as less than 10. So you hiring 2 more guys is helping the U.S. economy? I guess screw the rest of the Americans that are buying from somewhere else. I mean if they aren't spending money with you. "It's not fair" give me a break. I do buy from Northerner but I doubt I will after these arrogant statements and now that It has been verified that you ran and told on the other companies to increase your profit margins. I guess I will just keep stocking up from other suppliers since all your brilliant statements have done is create urgency for us to buy from THEM now while we still can. Once they are gone I guess It's Lil Brown and General for me.

                            The problem is that these activities and actions do not help the consumer ... it is hurting everyone. What will be the next smokeless tobacco category "someone" complains about that they sell into the US (won't utter the word for fear that it may indeed be the next target besides snus - that would KILL me)?

                              Well Brant, we can't all "just get along" because this world we live in has a large population of scumbags. And those scumbags have nothing more on their minds except how to screw over their neighbors in order to increase the size of their own bank account.
                              You can't reason with or trust people like this. All you can do is put them in their place however possible.

                                Where's fredrick? He seemed to have a better grip on all this. Frank that post did you no favors..... It sounded pretty bad. I hate to say this but I will prolly only make 1 more order with you, only 2 get my free roll. after that It will be someone else. sad to say but it's true. You should not be trying to hurt your friends by making sure the other options are defeated. You should make sure you are taking care of your customesr, then you wouldn't have to worry about it. Seriously. you owned this thing, but apparently have lost the correct perspective.
