8.1: The EXPLODING FLAT RATE Box

Talked to Christi via e-mail this morning. She has been in the hospital. She told me that she had her sister mail the box to fdknuckles for her over a week and a half ago... and no, there was not any delivery confirmation sent with it. So, it appears that the box is missing in action.

Either Christi or the person the box was sent to can contact the post office and ask them to run a trace on it. This can be done without delivery conformation. It's up to one of them to step forward and follow up on this.

I'll go to the post office and see if I can file a lost package form.

Apparently Christi has to be the one to file for the missing package.

HER:
I set it over a week and a 1/2 ago. I am not a fan of the new snus on site so I didn't post. But it should have made it to the next person a long time ago.

ME:
Who did you send it to?

HER:
NAME AND ADDRESS OF WHO IS WAS SENT TO NOT RELEASED FOR PRIVACY REASONS.

ME:
What is his username and did you get a delivery confirmation?

HER:
fdrunukles and no I didn't do delivery confirmation because the day it got mailed I was in the hospital with pneumonia and my sister mailed it for me. I told her to get delivery confirmation, but she forgot and since she did me the huge favor of sending it when I couldn't I didn't get upset about it. I figured it would make it just fine.

ME:
OK, Thanks. You are missed by everyone. Hope you get well soon.

HER:
I am finally at home with computer access. Getting sick came on very quick. Let everyone know what was going on please. I will not have time to stop by today. Do you know if I can access snus on by blackberry? I am getting my mother's day/ birthday gift today and it is a new phone. If I can get on snus on with it I will come say hi to everyone. Please let me know if Ken gets the box. I feel awful about no D/C, but like I said she did me a solid and I really had no right to get angry at her.

Yea... I sorta figured that. This is third box pass that I know of to go MIA. Sad...

I know of one or two members here that won't participate in box passes anymore because they "vanish" somewhere along the way. I know it is going to be awhile before I get into another one. I've been recycling they boxes when I get them back... but well... now there is nothing to recycle

What a bummer. I put some really good snus in that box too that can't be easily gotten in the states anymore.

Oh well.. It's only snus! I do hope Christi is ok though
