So its been a while since the first time i had a snus. I wanted to give some observations i have had on my wonderful trip through the snus world.

Everyone should try los. I was a portion guy myself and thought los would be disgusting. BUT then I got a los can as my free can in a getsnus order. It was Odens Extra Sterk Kanel. Decided to buy a prismaster and give it a try.
It was great. Tried a couple of other brands of los and have noticed they always have better flavor as los. WAY better i can't explain why. If they would only make los of nick and johnny again.

Now i don't use los all the time maybe once or twice a day Its really worth it in the end. Also bought myself an icetool and it just makes los so much better. With the icetool i can make a pris that will actually stay in as long as a portion.

I've narrowed down the snus that i enjoy also.

Started my own stash so i can fit in with all of the older people here. Up to 86 cans.

Also i used to vacuum seal my snus cans BUT i took some advice from sagedil and now i just throw them in my freezer (organized of course). Had to say this so that sage can't say he never changes anyone over from sealed storage. It does work. Cans that have been in there 4 months plus are just like new.

Lös does not necessarily have to be better, otherwise there wouldn't be snusers who try, but just cannot get into lös. It's a personal thing.

But it's sad to hear from people who never tried lös or try it only after they have tortured themselves with portions for months. Besides the inconvenience of the baking and the disposal of a prilla, the advantages are clear:

- better nicotine delivery
- better taste
- better mouth feel
- maybe even less gum irritation (yeah, forget the oral lesions propaganda by Swedish Match. First, portions give them a higher profit margin. Second, they sponsored the studies. Third, one cannot compare the typical Swedish lös user - a 70 years old man from the backwoods of the country, for whom oral hygiene is just a foreign word with unknown translation - with the international snus users in this forum).

one observation i have had is for when you are trying to take the snus out when you are done with it. its usually not easy, but i find that sticking a small rolled up piece of paper towel right under the snus in your upper lip will cause the snus to come out relatively cleanly when you take the paper towel out, to do that, you must lift your upper lip with one hand and grap a part of the paper towel with a couple of fingers and just take it out. usually this takes 80-90% of the snus out, and the snus is attached to the paper towel, so its easy to manage. i find that doing this twice can completely take out a pack really easily and with no mess.

also,putting a tiny piece of paper towel under the snus itself when you feel it getting too wet will prevent mud mouth
