Oral cancer from snus has never been proven even through numerous clinical studies.
Stained teeth...well I don't have 'em and the norwegian friend who introduced me to snus used almost a can a day and also didn't have stained teeth.
Then again, women can distinguish a million more colors than men so I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder
Is that white, off white, mother of pearl, eggshell, mild coffee, strong coffee, toffee, thin mud, thick mud, almond, light beige, soft beige, or off off white? :P
Seriously, what ever happened to normal colors?
The most common one in my sorroundings are: If you usually put ur pie on the left side u'll go blind eventually. The cause is that the vision nerve passes through just milimeters from your lip (obviously not, but i dont know if there are other nervs important to your vision) and that your addiction to snus eventually will cause corrosion all the way through the nerv, thus u go blind.
DO you think these are true? If so, what evidence do you have?
I'm sure its possible, but HIGHLY improbable. Not anywhere even in the same league as smoking, and I think some of those numbers are inflated as well when they come from anything but an unbiased medical report.
The connection between snus and cancer has not been ensured. Reportedly only one person has ever died on snus-effects and that was American snuff he used. He used 3½ cans a day and had a tumour which was operated off but he still kept using snuff like he did before.

I think that the one that gets under my skin the most is:
"You gave up cigarettes for smokeless tobacco, that's worse than smoking". I believe cigarettes and alcohol cause more oral cancer than smokeless tobacco. I've given up on trying to educate people that it's the burning of the tobacco that's dangerous.
Another one is:
smokeless tobacco causes cavities. Smokeless tobacco is high in ph(alkaline), if anything it probably neutralises the acid that causes cavities.
Well, most myths are partly true (at least the myths that are not made by medics), so I took the risk with my first snus-order. Of course, most myths turned out to be absolute nonsense.
The only myths, that turned out to be true, are the "cigarette-like-nicotine-amount"-myth and the 'ideal-stop-smoking-instrument'-myth.
So WOW, after initially getting the e-CAB (given to wife), then purchasing the Kanger T3 Combo with plastic clearmoziers, with a 650 mAH and a 1000mAH...
