Ok, so today I bought a can of General White Wintergreen, and I noticed the flavor wasn't quite right. I checked the expiration date on the bottom(something I'm doing from now on), and lo and behold, it was expired. I bought a good can and chucked the expired snus from the other, and now I'm trying to get the peppermint smell out so I can use it as a "Grab Can" for a few different flavors. Right now I've got baking soda in it. Anyone have any idea if baking soda in it for a couple days will work?

Well, after one day, the wintergreen smell I considerably less, so I think a few more days would make it zero. Trying the same thing with and empty White Mint can nowComment

I usually let my empty cans sit (lid off) for a week or so.........this seems to do the trick with most
But wintergreen and mint are the hardest smells to get rid of.
you might have to put it in the dishwasher.....or if you want the label intact.......you can put a bit of natural flavor los in the can and try to neutralize it that way.....for me I'd just let it sit about a month and then use itWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did.......
