So I've been telling my best friend (who I started smoking with way back when we were like 13-14) about how great this stuff has been for me and she finally expressed enough interest that I sent her a can. I figured the thunder frosted mini would be a good starter snus for her. She mentioned that she thought she'd tried a Marlboro awhile back when she got a free coupon, but that she didn't like it. I tried to explain the differences to her and she sounded really excited to try. She also thought that if it works for her like it has for me she'll try to get her dad (who we used to steal smokes from lol) to try it out to quit with too.
I'm so excited but so nervous. I want her to like it so badly. I warned her about the burn and possibility of a strong personal reaction to the nicotine. I warned her she might juice up more at first but that it would get better. I'm trying to think if there was anything else I should have warned her about? It's only been a month but I already feel like I've forgotten what it was like when I was just getting used to the stuff.
I also told her not to try to quit smoking right away. Just to use the portions as a change-up from a cigarette in the middle of the day and not to try and use it to replace her "favorite" smokes of the day. I remember that was important for me. I had to have my morning, after meal, and night-time smoke for several weeks before being comfortable enough to replace them with a portion.
What do you guys think? Anything I missed that I should cover with her? She sounded very excited and hopeful about it so I think she'll give it a fair shake. I also mentioned to check out this site (so if you're reading this sorry if it's awkward!) for advice and tips.
