    Nicotine free Loose?

I know you can get the onico portions. Does anyone make nicotine free loose snus.

Zero is right, but ... yes. I believe one brand is called OregonMint. There's another too. Just Google it and you'll get hits. Yes, I tried it. Omigod. It is dreadful, for no reward either. Worse than a clove cigarette. Northerner, of course, has nic-free portions but no loose. If I want no nic, I suck on coffee-flavored Nips hard candies! Good, and cheaper, too.

No one yet makes nic-free tobacco snus, athough it's possible using the genetically altered stuff that Quest cigarettes use. With those cigarettes, you could make your own nic-free loose.

If I want to cut down on my nicotine I just chew some sugar free gum instead of popping a portion. I did try using a few Onico portions to cut down but I just felt there was no point of having a fat lip if I wasn't getting anything out of it

most gas stations in the south sell tins of finely ground beef jerky. It is quite expensive though and you dont get much of it. Comes in a tin like smokeless. I buy it now and again. MMMMM salty, meaty goodness

            A few suggestions

There are very few non-nic options available in loose form....

            http://www2.nicofree.se/

Is the only one I know of

            This online store stocks it

            http://www.snuskaufen.com

The pepper flavour comes in loose form

            http://www.snuskaufen.com/choice-peppar-p-25.html

The majority of non-nic snus comes in pouch form...

            http://www.realtaste.se/

and of course Onico (of which only the Enbär is actually remotely interesting as a substitute if you have to have that snus feeling)

The mint snuff referred to by TropicalBob is

            http://www.mintsnuff.com/

These ar two other non-nic chew options available in the US....I think Smokey have their pouches manufactured by XQ'S in Sweden....

            http://www.goldeneaglechew.com/golde..._products.html

            http://www.smokeysnuff.com/

Personally I stick to Altoids Licorice, Tyrkisk Peber and Saltlakrits when I want to substitute snus for something else...

Thank you for this comprehendive list of options. I enjoy snus and oliver twists, but sometimes I want the feel of snus when I have loaded up on nicotine

I forgot that my tastiest mini snus favorite (with no nic kick to speak of) was something called XQ's. Even Yummi's little mouth could hide one. Anyhow, XQ's stopped making the nicotine portions but still has a line of no-nicotine portions. Very small. Very tasty. A variety of flavors, including pina colada. Worth a rotation when you're nic'd up. Northerner has 'em.
