I just got my first warning labled cans, Grove OP, and Ettan OP. The warning lables actually came off pretty easily. The warning stickers came off, and didn't affect the original Grov and Ettan can stickers at all. Since they're both SM products, I am not sure the same will be true for any other companies stickers.

i have been saving them for five years now except for the cardboard one which get threw away. At first they just seemed too good to throw out and i figured i would come up with a use for them. i think in total i have reused three of them to keep loose change, screws, etc in. Other than those three i just keep saving them because i am just sure i will come up with a use for them. My wife and daughter both work in elementary schools. I keep telling them to think up some craft the kids could make out of them. so far they don't have any ideas. I keep wanting to run a contest, a free roll of snus to who comes up with the best reuse of snus cans. There would be five different classes,
1) loose plastic cans
2) Loose cardboard cans
3) Large portion cans
4) Mini portion cans
5) Purified mini cans
Of course the free rolls of snus would be imaginary unless some snus site donated the prizes :-)
Oh i have reused Gotlandssnus loose cans to put general es loose which comes in cardboard cans in. Those Gotlandssnus loose cans are well made things.

I am saving all my wintergreen cans for when I get time to make the snus bucket. Originally I was saving them for no reason at all.

Same for me.Originally posted by AtreyuKun View PostI try and save a can for every flavor. That's enough for me. Saving every damn can seems kinda OC. I don't want to go down that road.
I was going to save them for when I started getting the huge warning labels, but if they come off as easily as bover said, I'll just put them in a box or something.

They new labels don't all come off easily. It probably depends on the brand--on General at least the warning is now integrated into the "real" label on the can. And I'm guessing some brands that are using peel-off labels for now will develop integrated labels in the future.Originally posted by myuserid View PostSame for me.

So I'm now keeping all the remaining old containers I have left, at least the plastic ones, if only so that I can show future generations that snus cans once looked cool. I recently got one of the steel Icetool Snusboxes, which I use for carrying around my daily stash of portions. So that negates the warning label issue for me for the most part.

Glad I've been hanging onto a can of each then.
I'm tempted to get one of those IceTool tins. Those things are so cool looking.

They were tempting me, so a few weeks ago I suggested to my wife that one might make a nice gift for "someone."Originally posted by myuserid View PostI'm tempted to get one of those IceTool tins. Those things are so cool looking.
Overall, I love it. It looks, functions, and feels very cool. Only thing I don't like is that it is heavier and a bit bulkier in my pocket than a normal tin. But I knew that would be the case and figure it's just a price you have to pay for style.

I know I'd accidentally throw it in my pocket with the keys though and scratch it all up.Originally posted by Langdell View PostThey were tempting me, so a few weeks ago I suggested to my wife that one might make a nice gift for "someone."

Maybe I'll start dropping hints with my wife.
