Is it still safe to make one more order of postal service delivered snus, aside from BuySnus which has made their changes?

Just wondering, right now I only have 20 cans, and it wouldn't hurt to have ten or sixty more

Serious? I just placed an order with buysnus this morning. My thinking is that anything deposited into the mail on or after 6/29/2010 will be confiscated. They should at least allow a little time to process the packages that have already been shipped.

Yeah, they could do that. Or they could figure that you have had 90 days already and the law is the law.

I'd error on the side of caution - but then again, my stash is complete.

Yeah, I am a bit worried now. I have 2 rolls of Granit minis on the way and I am not sure if that FDA rule is going to effect them or not.

I am willing to bet that mini portions are going to be rarer than hens teeth pretty soon so I did a last minute order. The very expensive tobacco stores near my house were not able to get minis at all but they already have General OP and Wintergreen. I am thinking that mini's will not do well here because they only come in 20 portions to a can.

At my local B&M they can't keep General Mini Mint in stock. Also, Marlboro and Camel both have much less (6 and 15 as I recall).

As long as the company will ship to you, I would order. People seem to forget that the PACT act relies almost entirely on the US Postal service for enforcement, and they do not give a shit. Aside from not giving a shit, they also have their heads squarely up their assess, 90% of the time. Stop worrying so much and just order the damn snus.

Any tobacco products seized and forfeited under this subsection shall be destroyed or retained by the Federal Government for the detection or prosecution of crimes or related investigations and then destroyed.

‘(d) Additional Penalties- In addition to any other fines and penalties under this title for violations of this section, any person violating this section shall be subject to an additional civil penalty in the amount equal to 10 times the retail value of the nonmailable cigarettes or smokeless tobacco, including all Federal, State, and local taxes.

‘(e) Criminal Penalty- Whoever knowingly deposits for mailing or delivery, or knowingly causes to be delivered by mail, according to the direction thereon, or at any place at which it is directed to be delivered by the person to whom it is addressed, anything that is nonmailable matter under this section shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 1 year, or both."

Ouch! This is all getting a bit confusing. One minute you are fine to order from overseas vendors and the next minute you are in federal prison. I guess that was my last order for a while. At least until all of this stuff gets figured out.
