Taste Differences Between Original and White Portions?

Title speaks for itself. Are there products out there that taste different between their original portion compared to their white portion? My understanding is that OP will deliver the flavors right away where as the WP will take a bit to deliver. This doesn't bother me since I'm not concerned about getting a nic kick right away or anything. What is your gentlemen's take on it?

I think the flavor's the same, but more muted in white portions. I'm not a fan of whites.

They are the same, but because of the muted flavors of White, they seem like they taste different, if that makes any sense. I prefer the longer lasting muted whites. Some people prefer the juicier OPs. And some people say screw the bag and use los.

prefer whites...not as harsh as regular portions and they last longer.

They usually taste the same for me, except that it takes longer to get the full flavor of a white portion compared to an original one. Also, I find that white portions last longer for me, since they start off dry and take a while to develop a nice flavor.

Tre ankre=good choice. Whites aren't as flavorful as Op. In general in my limited experience loose=almost always good sometimes bad, OP=sometimes good, occasionally bad, WP=semi rarely good, rarely bad just ok. I always fluff my white portions and soak them in spit.

Unless a certain flavor is only offered in a White Portion I will always get the Original Portion. Taste is the same, however I just feel like the Original Portion is better, not to mention the White Portions are harsher on the gums.

I'm starting to use lös a lot more now and if a flavor I like is available in lös I rather have that. However I currently can't lös at work, but by next month I will be able to. so lös will be a 60-70% of the time thing for me probably. lol

Only time I know I can't lös is on dates or when I go out to drink with friends, it's just easier to have a portion then.

I prefer whites, but then I am almost always drinking something with it. Be it, water, tea, coffee, whatever. I think the whites offer a more even, mild experience. Everything slows down because you need your saliva or whatever to moisten the substance in order to get the full transfer of nic. I think the regular portions last just as long if you don't play with them. Just pack them way up there and forget about them otherwise they drip on you and it becomes cumbersome IMO.

Same thing goes for sterks. I prefer the drier ones really. I don't mind if my N&J dries out, or Claq (RIP), but the black ones are nice. My sterk usage has been pretty much exclusively N&J for a while now so things might change again...who knows.

I also commingle them sometimes. When I get to bout half cans of Grov White and Grov OP or Ettan OP I just combine the cans. It peps up the whites and mellows out the OP's. It's very subtle but noticeable. Many snus don't get along IMO, but sometimes they compliment each other.

White Portions have less of a tobacco flavor. General White tastes more citrusy than General Original. Basically, the added flavors are more predominant and the flavor tends to be more muted. In my opinion, White portions are like ultra light cigarettes.

As others have said above me, its not so much a different taste as it is slower and less noticeable release of flavor. Only thing i don't really like about white portions is they seem to be harsher on my gums.

Back when I started I hated white portions. Now after a couple of years I use more white/black portions than regular. And lös, my stash is 80% White or lös. Ettan original, Phantom Blue and ES snus are the exceptions.

I'm not someone who would usually be shouting white power at the top of my lungs, but whites rule.
Seriously though, I like the whites probably more at work because I can leave them in for literally hours and still get plenty of flavor. Original portions though, I usually finish those up in about an hour. By the the time I'm done, they're turning white. I usually completely suck all the flavor I can out of OP's.

I don't experience any flavour difference between white and original, only the release of flavour is slower in whites and mouth feel is different, dryer. I prefer originals myself but the fact whites don't drip is a plus.

Th only real difference I find is that originals juice up faster/more, and the taste in an original is more immediate and gone faster. Don't really have a preference, they're both good!
