Some Canadians have have claimed getting dinged with exorbitantly high duty charges. I've had orders charged duty but nowhere near as high as others have claimed. On average when I'm hit it works about to an extra $5 a can.
One thing that most Canadians agree on, you're odds of getting your snus duty free are about 50/50.
Other options? Well, if you have a friend/relative in the US you could have your order sent to them and in turn have them mail it to you (along with some blue jeans, bibles & penicillin.)
As far as getting snus domestically, forget it. Even if you could find what I believe is the only snus available to the domestic market (DuMaurier) it's apparently overpriced and subpar quality/taste.

Look accidents happen, so let me just say have your friend send you a nice warm scarf or something else nice and low in value (a scarf can't be more than $20 I think) and none too tobacco like.
So of course because you friend is sending you a scarf it will be declared on the package as a scarf (obviously).
If when your friend is putting the scarf in the box and his/her can(s) of snus fall from their front shirt pocket (where as you know we all keep all our cans) falls into the box accidently like....and they don't notice it fell in then it was a mistake....right.......RIGHT?Comment
