whoa. i just stumbled into a firestorm. im not sure whose side, if any, i should take. but ive always been a side taker. alls ill say is this whole thing seems ridiculous. why ban chad over doing what hes always done? the dude just wants to be cool, let the guy have his day. ask him not to recreate the dippers guide if you want, but why ban him? and a dippers guide is a crucial piece to a snus site, he should be allowed to have it if he were to write it as one of his own articles, not take dogs guide.

and johnathon, yeah he tries too hard. he posted "as his brother" day one to promote his site. yeah, it was lame, but there are people who like the service he provides who would never have discovered his site without his being an active member of snuson. i find that as only being a positive thing for all parties involved. i just think banning people is lame and makes you look like a bitch. if you think johnathons a spamming douche, call him out in a post, discredit him if you feel its warranted. discuss it among others. whatever.

LaZeR, I may disagree with your politics one hundred percent,* but I'll defend to the end of this very post your privilege to post silly pictures inappropriately.

In my opinion, political blather should be relegated to clearly-tittled threads in the People section where they can be easily ignored. Threads pertaining to pending legislation, etc, relating to the forum's main topic, will inevitably include some frazzled static, but they're no place for detailed proclamations of one's ridiculous creeds and their underlying philosophy/prejudices. That's what kitchen tables were made for.

* Actually, if LaZeR's political "positions" and mine were all enumerated point by point and compared, I suspect we'd find only maybe *eighty-five* percent utter disagreement. Thank God (and I'm an atheist, sort of, anybody want to make something of that in this thread?), LaZeR and I will never platt out our "positions," even in the People section, because that would be boring and essentially pointless at our age and distance, never mind that no one else would give a crap. (My padding the length of this post is central to that point.)

Thank you papawinks. I have to temper my political drivel, hell it pisses me off just the same to have to sift through threads leading into political rants... "my side is better than your side, bla bla bla." Guess I've been holding back and if you notice I didn't even get much into the discussions regarding politics in the "Peoples & Places" section baring an occasional "joke" post or attempt at humor. Sorry that I came out and stated my political position so firmly and if that offends anyone.

With that said, there is a basis to my unleashing of the political "babble" / rant which unfortunately is a direct result of this friggen PACT legislation and rumored tax being considered in my home state which disturbs me as well noted and in this shitty economy.

I'm not here to piss people off though, rather would like to be looked at as somewhat entertaining. Life is too short to hold personal grudges so I try my best to make love... er I mean make up with my squabbling foes. I'm a little irked atm at Sage but he and I will I'm sure both get over it. Kinda in my mind one of those "Pot meet Kettle type of situations" with being asked to tame down my rants all along whilst he has his own somewhat controversial technique in blowing up on folks if they ASK certain :?: s regarding shipping time concerns, ect....
