I am not a big fan of drippy snus and have dumped an op within 10 minutes when it got too much for me.
I use mostly los and strong minis with the very occasional General Wintergreen.
Sometimes I even dump a mini if it gets too drippy at work and I can't spit out the excessive drip. If I don't, I start gagging on it.

White portion means that it's drier, so the tobacco juice doesn't gutter down your throat ( which is not healthy, you are supposed to thrash your snus whenever the tobacco juice starts to gutter down your throat).

How is it unhealthy? Carcinogens?[/quote]
I feel as though when i swallow too much drip, my throat gets hoarse, and my voice is affected.
And the other day, my placement of a Roda Lacket had it dripping insane amounts all of a sudden, and I started to almost throw up. Had to toss that bugger real quick.

I don't think there can be any doubt about the fact that swallowing the juice is potentially more harmful than not. The question is, is it significant enough to cause disease over a long period of time....I'm not sure there is any good data out there on this specific point regarding snus.
I love the drip, and squeeze, push, and torture my portions and los to maximize drip extrusion. :P
But I do have some concern about the los. I'm pretty new to all this, and I may be slightly retarded, but I seem to swallow like 75% of the los pris that I put in my lip. I'm much more concerned about ingesting the actual tobacco than the juice. Swallowing significant amounts of actual tobacco for a long period of time would most likely be much more harmful than the juice alone....
And the last thing I want in life is a colostomy bag. (as I sit eating a big fat piece of london broil. :? )

Serious though, If my snus ain't a drippin, I'm not a trippin. I love the juices. Nothing pisses me off more than a dry snus. One of the reasons I have a hard time with the "whites".

A little drip in a portion is allright but when the dam breaks it is out or I will spit. LOS does not gush but breaks into small pieces and the first hint of those it's out.
I am only in it for the nicotine not the meal.

i start every portion with a drop or 2 of water or tea. and constantly tounge the portion to get as much drip as i can, i dont get rid of it untill it is a plae color and there is noooo drip. so this is very interesting to me. makes me wonder if any of the case studies of pancreatic cancers incorperated all users who got rid of the peice of hevean once it started dripping. did they even think about this fact when the studies were takeing place. didnt hear any one confirm any thing as far as, was that just some tactic to get people to go through snus more so they sell more or what. if there was no drip i doubt id even use snus. never tasted anything so wonderful in my life. anyone know anymore about the facts?

i spoke with a nurse once, while i was helping her move some stuff to her house with my pick-up. she said the most common problem with smokeless is cancer of the esophagis (sp?) or esophigenial cancer (sp?)
i imagine excessive dripping and swallowing could lead to this.
i enjoy a little drip too but once it gets too drippy, i think its spent. a fresh OP is far better than old one, imo.
i never use whites, they take too long to get good.

I don't know about tossing it after only 20 minutes, though. I usually leave them in for something like 2-3 hours at a time.
