How many cans do you have stashed?

With PACT looming, I'm just wondering how many cans some of you have stashed away.


Right now I sit at exactly 101 cans, with two rolls on the way, and my replacement roll from V2(if it ever comes, its been over 2 weeks since they "shipped" it), plus a shitload of Discreet, though I don't count that as cans. Swedish only.

So I'm heading past the fabled 150 can mark, hittin' 160 and aint stopping till the prices go up. Im gonna buy as much as I possibly can while its still tax-free.

Some of you may think its silly to hoard so much, but I'll remember that when I'm sitting here enjoying the hell out of my tax-free snus, while reading all your posts bitching about the insane price of snus. :P

So, how big is your stockpile?

Nevertheless. I have between a year and a half and two years worth of pipe tobacco put away. That after just smoking for less than 5 months. But that is not PACT inspired. I just really like aged tobacco, and want to age as much as I can as fast as I can. So for a few months, that's all I bought. But even now, with Pact, I don't have another tobacco order scheduled for a few months. I am just not worried.

One thing that WILL screw me. People rushing to hoard now makes snus sell out and not be available to me when my normal bi-monthly snus order comes up. That will piss me off bad and I dam well expect some of you G** D**** hoarders freakin share some of your stash when I run
out, not because of PACT, but because of you. :wink:

My only advice for new guy sneaking into this thread I otherwise probably won't like much.... from someone who has been around a long time. ......

Please, please. Don't let these folks freak you out about what will happen with getting snus. I have argued forever it won't be a major issue. A bit more expensive, a bunch for a few who live in some stupid states. So don't stress, just enjoy the snus. I promise. In the end, it will always be there one way or another.

49 just now, 20 coming and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for sales and bargains. I don't see it as silly or hoarding. More patriotic really!

im only placing a largeish order because i haven't placed in order in close to three or four months

and i just have to have a roll each of G and L

I only have a couple dozen now. Various mixed snus and many were acquired w/ bonus points from Northerner. I figured I'd cash in and get the free snus while it was still truly free.

I have to order my staple snus within the next week or so and will probably order about 5 rolls worth. I too, am not terribly worried about this PACT thing. Even if it goes up 25% or so it'll still beat $7.00/day for smokes...and then probably some sooner than expected cremation services.

With that total I'd be pushing six months or so before I order again...

I've got right around 30 cans right now, I usually order between 2-3 rolls at a time, usually around a 2-3 month interval.

And, like sage, I'm not gonna stockpile. I'm not all that worried about it. We have 3 suppliers in the U.S. now, plus Match is getting ready to launch General in a wider manner at retail.

The tax holiday has been really nice, obviously. But, the tax on smokeless in Ohio isn't really as high as on cigarettes. And, I think PA actually doesn't levy an excise tax on smokeless tobacco, just regular sales tax(can any Pennsylvanians check me on that?), so if I really want to, maybe I'll work it out to get it that way in person.

150 tins of OR coffe/van, 10 tins of Triumph Mint and a small variety of others currently. I'm going to order a snusx bucket and about 5 more rolls of coffe/van in the next day or so. I'm not really hoarding because of the new tax and hassel. Its because the coffe/van is a limited edition. The tax really isn't a problem for me.

I have alot of Northerner points to use up. If you are thinking about getting an Icetool let me know. I can order the exact one you want and you can save some $.

I have between 60 - 70 cans in my freezer, not PACT act related, just obsession related with ordering snus. lol. But now that I am down to a rotation of 2 brands, I will be looking to get rid of a lot of stuff I will probably never use, and replace those with Thunder Frost Long, General Mint Whites, and Skruf Stark Whites. With those 3 brands I have about 25 cans, with more on order.

I am lucky in that I can go to Bethlehem PA in person and buy snus from getsnus. I know they lack some variety, but they have what I use, and I can avoid shipping charges (if they change their free shipping over $50 rule) by going there in person.
