I got out more now I snus. I smoke less pipes. Pipes require staying home and relaxing your easy chair.

Oddly enough I have never had anyone notice my snus until I pointed it out, women at bars usually say it's gross even a moment before or after they went outside to smoke a cigarette. Luckily, I have a sense of humour and this is probably why I keep doing it in front of them on purpose.

Don't get me wrong, snus has given me more freedom than I ever had as a smoker. I was just curious if some stayed home more so they could enjoy that los or portion that they may not enjoy so much out in public.
I can only assume that men can hide a portion or pris better than a women.

This. Once I got past drinking and not smoking, I pretty much snus everywhere.

erm, if you're doing portions, pop it in your mouth like a mint and shove it up into your lip with your tongue... discreet and people think you're popping mints.

^ This. I love that I know I can go anywhere now and not be inconvenienced if I need my nic fix. Long flights are on again, Cruises are on again, going anywhere is on again. I love it. I don't care about the little bump in my lip, let them look. lol. or I can push it back. The wife uses mini's so she can hide them easily. I don't use LOS out, but no biggie, portions will do.

All that said, I don't have the most exciting social life, so although I am free to go out now because of snus, I haven't been going out too much more frequently, but its not because of the snus, but just because I am boring.

big brown dripping wet mint? I put a portion in at church and the preacher was preaching(he is my dad's best friend) and when he saw me do it he gave me the dirtiest look. LOL.

LOL how are flossing and snusing even in the same category? And yeah I would floss in front of someone if I needed to. I spent one night in jail (in my whole life) and I had to sh*t and did that in front of people. It is just something you have to do.

I would love snus to be viewed in America like it is in Sweden.
Its viewed the same, half the people don't give a damn about your horrible addictive habit. And the other have think you're going to die in 5 years because of your horrible addictive habit.

i don't have habits... every time is a choice, but that's just the way i'm wired.

i don't understand habitual people, or addiction for that matter..

Like we all haven't heard THAT from a million people yet. A choice. Heck I think I used that excuse too, back in my military days! 8)
