How long you been out of snus?

I have left woek before to go home to retrieve a forgotten can.

I ran out of portions about 2 1/4 years ago. When Buysnus made their ill fated Swiss Post experiment and everything failed badly. I subsisted for 3 days on los. Not the end of the world but extremely traumatizing to me. Was soon after I started to hoard. Is still the reason I have often had 90 cans of snus in my freezer. I vowed....never will run again as snus is my love. :lol:

Chad. That was a mistake. And I really didn't even run out of Elyxr, had forgotten I had taken that extra can with me to see Debra in Tennessee. So just misplaced the Elyxr!!! Get it??? :lol: :lol: :lol:

I always make sure I have atleast ten cans before I worry about ordering. In December I let it get a little lower and sold a couple cans to a friend and my Christmas/new year was not a merry one. I had smallish (~7 can) orders from three companies; one got lost by usps which clubsnus kindly replaced, and the other two just got held up by holiday traffic.

It was my fault for getting carefree but I had a week without snus. That sucked. I really didn't have physical withdrawals which I thought was cool because I have quit smoking before and that really sucks. It just created a void. I went about my normal life but I was shell of a man; no soul. I believe scientist refer to this as the living dead.

After five days no snus I desperately bought a can of Kodiak wintergreen. I chewed years ago at times when I'd worked outside and always loved it. This time it did not agree with me. Chew is not a good snus substitute. It tasted disgusting and gave me a stomach ache. It wasn't the nicotine because I didn't get a buzz, it's that my mind knew I was putting something horrible in my body so I tossed the can.

This whole debaucle taught me something: one, I will never chew; secondly, I can survive without snus but don't have another way of relieving stress. That is the root of my snus consumption. Like a person who poors themselves a drink after work to relax, snus does that for me.

haha about six hours..7-11 closed at 0:00 am, i didn't realize i was out so i had to wait untill they opened at 7 am lol 8) 8) 8) 8)

I'm going to have to order more here soon. I've been out for about two weeks. Tried dipping again, still no. Bought a pack of Camels, but already blew through that. Love snus, hate the taste (now, use to like it, weird).

Ill pick up some of that new general mint and wintergreen.

Never. I think 40 cans is about the absolute lowest I have ever let my stash get. Once you are able to get a good stock going, it gets easier and cheaper to keep it that way. Probably have 80-100 cans at the moment, plus like 40 packs of discreet. 8)

I never run out. Always have a stash in the fridge and the freezer.

And if it did get to danger point I can always get a next day delivery from the northerner.

I managed to get a good supply before PACT, so since I've been snusing I might go an hour or 2 without, but that's it.

Since I started doing real swedish snus, maybe a few hours?

When I did camel snus for the first time I went through like 4 cans then there was a few months without then about 3 more cans of camel then a few months then some camel (3 cans or so) and marlboro (2 packages) and swedish snus soon after.

I got up at 3:45 this morning with the baby, and decided I might as well throw in a portion.

Got her back to sleep and went back to bed. Woke up at 7 with the portion still in.

I don't run out, I've ran out like....once, and was out for a few days and had to use the Camel stuff. But now, I just stock and buy DEEP so I don't run out. Place orders larger so that it doesn't become an issue.

I stocked up but always kept in mind how much money I was saving in the long run, so that took the sting out of it. Truthfully though, I would have had to spend WAAAAAYYY more on stocking up on cigarettes.
I have never been out of snus (knock on wood) and if I can help it, never will. LOL I guess smoking had its one upside.... it taught me how to be an effective addict.

Never, and, God willing, never will. I'm fortunate to have a good local supplier of General, and I stock up whenever I go there and make a return trip while I still have a few cans left, and then I keep a back-up stash of various snuses in the freezer. The idea of running out of something I enjoy every day drives me nuts, especially if it's something that has to be ordered instead of being bought locally. That's why I'm glad I can get General locally and long for the day when we can buy many varieties of Swedish snus at numerous convenient retailers.
