question on romeo and juliet snus..

hi, new to forum. been snusing for approx. 2yrs now. had to give up my beloved cigarettes after more then 40 yrs.,(health with heart). read about snus, had used american chew many yrs. ago. decided to try snus. found buysnus and tried it. bingo!!!! tried many different ones, but settled on ettan, lucky strike. prefer the pure tobacco taste. have seen that buysnus is handling the romeo and juliet brand. soes this snus have a pure tobacco flavor, am interested in trying. thanks for any info.

Their marketing is a big lie! I like romeo y jjulieta but it has a subtle aniseed taste nothing like pure tobacco. Maybe you would prefer monticristo, it's more tobacco-like.

Welcome to the forums. You'll probably have some issues getting Romeo y Julieta and Monticristo shipped to the USA. They allegedly have Cuban tobacco in them, and we can't buy Cuban stuff :^/. I say allegedly because they could very well just be capitalizing on the names. I know damned well Lucky Strike snus doesn't have the same tobacco as the cigarettes do. They're just cashing in on the brand recognition.

After what I recall from my last can, R&J has a little hint of licorice, and a very spicy taste and aroma. Tastes nothing like tobacco. At all.

Motechristo is pretty much the same, just a tad more lemonish.

Go for Ettan and Grovsnus Perfect tobacco taste
