New Camel Snus Flavors released and tasted!

O.k., so I found the two new larger pouches of Winterchill and Robust at the Fort Hood PX this morning and wanted to report as soon as possible. The Winterchill is a sweet wintergreen flavor; the Robust starts out like the old Spice flavor, but then degenerates into a knockoff flavor of General...that earthy, citrusy taste...know what I mean? Neither are really worth seeking out, and nowhere have I seen Frost...perhaps discontinued? My friend here also uses Frost and has said that it is sold out everywhere. The pouches are also like 25% larger, and the tins still contain 15 pouches. I suspect both flavors are going to be a disappointment to snus users, but who am I to say?

everytime i read winterchill for a second i think it says winston churchill. i gotta slow down.

The dam PXs always get it first. I suspect its the governments way of converting enlisted smokers. Especially the naval forces. No smoking whatsoever on a submarine these days.

"Winterchill" sounds like something out of "World of Warcraft."

Very strange, the lack of promotion behind new flavors. Perhaps that PX is getting 'test-market' treatment along with others around the country.

I have the distinct impression that we're all sick and tired of the RJR/PM marketing hacks' silly flavor names, and just want to know what's in the can.

What the hell is "Winterchill?" Can't they write "Wintergreen?" "Robust" is probably just another name for 'Sugar Rush.'

It's amazing that RJR and PMUSA have bought the two major smokeless companies in the USA, yet cannot think up appealing flavors of snus.

That's an irritant to me in general. Gatorade immediately springs to mind with their non-descript flavors. You have to look at the color, and hope for the best. Slurpees from the 7-11 are the same way. WTH is batman flavor?!?! It pisses off. Just tell me what it's supposed to taste like :^S

Times have really changed. Back in the day we were allowed to smoke in C-130's in flight while heading for the drop zone. The only rule back then was to take your butts with you. If the air force guys had to clean up your mess there was hell to pay.
