The Ettan vs Grov Poll

I voted for Grov. The next time I buy loose I am going to try Ettan though. I am interested in trying it; people seem to love it. I find Ettan portions to be really dull.

I've already expressed my preference for Ettan lös and white portions so I voted Ettan. Mainly because I find myself reaching for it the most often

Grov is however also very good so I would like to have seen a "both" option (even if that defeats the purpose of this poll)

For me personally they are sufficiently different to ensure that I always order both in lös and white portions. Can't imagine being without either.

Neither Ettan nor Grov last as long for me as some others, but I still prefer the tobacco-forward, regular portion standards for everyday and prefer either brand to General (slightly).

This October, I prefer Ettan to Grov. Grov tastes a little too mild for me. In October.

Since I'm sitting here with insomnia, a lip full of Grov and a mug of coffee, I thought about this thread and decided I'd revisit it.

I had a feeling my feelings for both of these snusii* would flip back and forth, and so they have done. I've been liking Ettan more lately. It's just so rich and deep, with that almost-chocolaty thing that comes out. I had done a lot of Grov and that may be part of the reason why.

But right now, I'm reveling in the rich, creamy goodness that is Grov. Yeah, I just used "rich" to describe them both, I think that's okay. One way that has occurred to me to differentiate them is in the negative: when it's missing for me, Ettan can be muddy and murky, whereas Grov, when it's off, is more brassy and bright or harsh. I see these as the flip sides to their positive aspects, can you dig it?
