Sage makes a 3rd attempt at los

OK, so to do someone a favor, I git a can of Ettan and Prima Fint los as part of an exchange.I had mentioned several times I was gonna give los a third try, so this made it easy.

This time, I am doing something different. Try one, I used a prismaster. try two, I bought an Icetool. This time, inspired by Snusdog, I am just hand baking.

Hoping that maybe getting my fingers in the los, feeling it, massaging it, the whole ritual of it all will make the whole los thing more enjoyable. Not that I expect it too, but I feel I must at least give it a shot. Experience it for a while.

So I picked Prima Fint. I can't remember if that is good or bad for hand baking. i want to say it isn't the best. But that is fine for me. I liked the taste of it the last time I had it, more than I liked the Ettan. And I don't care about how messy or "hard" the hand baking is right now, that is kinda the point of it all.

So, I dug my can out of the freezer, warmed up a section, than dug some out. Other than spilling a bit on the floor and my first attempt just falling apart, it ended up working well. I made a comfortable shape for me, shaped kinda like a portion, imagine that.

So I have had it in for 15 minutes. Taste is OK, what I remember of the Prima Fint. Holding together fine. But, as always with los, it just sits there. Do I prefer it over a portion?? No. A portion, by now, I would have already moved around once or twice at least. The los just sits there, kinda boring.

But, I have it in, will try and make a good effort to use on a regular basis for a few weeks. Who knows what will come of it.

Believe it or not, I have yet to try Prima Fint. I think along with Kronan, it may be the only 'premium' lös I haven't tried.

That's something I shall have to remedy, isn't it?

I love it, a lot of people do. Some say the flavor is too mild though.

I'd heard exactly that, and that's probably why I've passed on it until now. But so is Röda lös, and I tried 2 or 3 cans of that.

So next time I order from Sweden, Prima Fint gets its day in court.

I have 6 cans of Prima Fint over at the Exchange if you have any portions. Just send me a PM if you do. I think the Prima packs better than the Ettan and seems to hold the flavor longer than the Ettan.

I was gonna say, with the Prima and the Röda lös, both, a small pinch (hillbilly if you will) out of the can, pressed together with the fingers and then tucked up with the tongue, delivers awesome flavor. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it, but it's well worth it. Just two cents from my newbie ass.

Good luck Sage!!! I recently got a can of Prima and Ettan from a trade, to me the Ettan was easier to handbake. Prima wasn't hard, but Ettan stuck together better. 8)

Love Prima Fint. Lxskllr recommended it, and I have a few cans of it. It and Ettan are the two los I love most.

Ah, but then I would just use a portion. Not doing this to use los I otherwise couldn't use, have plenty of portions to keep me happy. Just trying to see what the magic so many see about los

I love it, too. But then there are about six or eight different varieties of los I love madly.

Well, I've been using much more loose snus lately and had many cans open at the same time. I had Prima Fint, Knox, LD, Julesnus, and Phantom Blue....

I have been meaning to post something like this for a while. It seems that many if not most of the folks hear are x-smokers. I applaud you all in your efforts to become smoke free. However, I have come to snus by a different rout and so I want to share my experiences with all those x-dippers who may be looking at this site for suggestions and direction to get started.
