I certainly have snus that is my main "go to" snus. Retro being the most obvious example. But I still insist on using at least 10 others throughout the month. Far different than with cigarettes.
Sure, I may buy a different pack occasionally, especially when I was poor and following sales. But whenever I wasn't, I bought the same thing day after day. Being consistent with cigarettes was just better for me. Snus is just completely opposite
I have a long journey and many , many , different kinds of snus to try before I can attempt to narrow it down to my top 5  . What everyone has posted so far makes sense , because everyone will be different . Some like blondes ,some like brunettes , I like em both . At the same time .
Funny thing is , right now I can't see myself ever sticking to a single kind or two . With so many varieties of snus available I feel I would be depriving myself . Plus with my luck , I'll find one I love , swear off all others , they will stop making it and I will get my heart broken . Just like our friend Sage .
I think you hit the nail right on the head. For the most part, it is just snus I have decided I didn't like much. My flavor profile I want is so much narrower now then it once was.

I think the American usage of many brands is because of internet availabilty. If snus was at the local gas station, I think we'd be more inclined to mainly use our fave brand.
That's it! I've never heard anything else but that's it's hard to find special brands in local stores in Sweden. Most shops carry General and Ettan, the bigger shops additionally maybe Röda Lacket or Göteborgs Rapé. In the rural areas that might be even narrowed to the respective lös-varieties.
Cheers!
That´s not quite true anymore, in the past, yes, for sure.
Even in my small neighborhood shop i can buy atleast 15 brands.
In rural areas, probably very narrow choice, but that´s also becuase nobody is asking for anything else than the same ol General. Slowly the SM monopoly is loosing it´s tight grip.
No my friend, too wise to the ways of snus to get my heart broken. Yes, NOT easy. But as in the other parts of my life, I know I will find love again.
Like a girl now, like LD White. But too soon yet to know if either is real. But I never lose faith I will fall in love again.
I was referring to your love affair with Retro White . :P
Yes, and my love affair with my wife Laura that lasted 17 years until that was snatched away from me too. But I know I will find new love again. Both in snus and in life.

I concur.
After almost 2 years now, I'm down to a few. Ettan lös and Grov(White or Black) are in every order. GR is usually there in one form or another. I like Gotlands green in the summer, and grey in the fall. All the rest are usually one or two cans when the mood strikes.
It starts in the soil. Before someone even puts a seed in it, soil samples are taken to a laboratory in Sweden for analysis. Swedish Match experiments with cultivation in different countries to achieve the best possible raw tobacco. If declared a good soil for tobacco, seeds are planted and every step in the development and the cultivation of the plant is carefully ...
A genuine interest in snus is what led the brothers Marc and Patrick Vogel to launch V2 Tobacco in 2006. Production began on a small scale, but increased as a result of demand until the brothers outgrew their factory. ...
Even though snus is a typical Swedish tradition, there are actually a couple of competent snus producers in the neighboring country of Denmark. AG Snus is owned by Assens Tobaksfabrik, a tobacco company with more than 150 years of experience in the tobacco industry. Five generations have perfected the production and manufacturing of tobacco products. ...
With PACT just around the corner I'm a little curious on how brand loyal people are. If we disregard that many of you may have a few 100 cans of your...
