Correct. Only CJ seem's to like it. Most people who've tried it wouldn't re-order it. The only thing it has going for it is that it is cheap.

Life is too short to use cheap and terrible tasting snus IMO.

But if you want to use a budget snus go for Knox, Granit or LD. I've not had LD portions, but it seems to be getting positive reviews.

My regular budget snus is Taboca! Good stuff!

Level is somewhere between a "quit-snusing-aid" and a no nonsense lightly flavored traditional snus, depending on the person who uses it. It is one of the oldest non-SM-brands and it has a fanbase for sure, but for me it just tastes "more than cheap".

Find out for yourself, but do not buy more than one can. The taste isn't unbearable but only very few "connoiseurs" will find that it tastes good.

        Cheers!

99% of Americans think it is the most horrible snus ever made.

It has a much stronger fan base in Sweden, only because snus there costs so much, Level is substantially cheaper. Maybe one day, when you can't buy snus anywhere without paying taxes, Americans might come to appreciate it being cheap. But today, especially with Americans already saving so much money kust by using snus over cigarettes, saving a few more pennies by using Level just doesn't make sense.

Very not true is Sweden. I think we often forget, America is but a blip on the snus market. What happens in Sweden control everything. There, many folks DO use Level, just because it is so much cheaper.

Level gets /ok/ once the flavor's mellowed. When you first put one in, it's strong, sour, and bitter all at the same time. It's got a few good flavors, but they're poorly married. I think it could be a great snus with some retooling. There's a lot there to enjoy, but the way it is now is too much. Once it's been in for 30-45 minutes it gets better. Some of the harsher characteristics have mellowed out, and you can concentrate on what they did right.

Or, for some people, it just keeps getting worse and worse.

I think Level is our ongoing joke that will last forever. I think we exaggerate a little though, it's not unbearable, just not that good. haha.

See, in Sweden, because of the high taxes, that works out to like paying $3 for another brand. Why Level exists.
