    Looking for a recommendation!!

Hi all, i'm back from my trip to the UK and have to say, snus is the best thing when flying. I had almost 23 hours in a no smoking environment between flights and connections. Snus was my Saviour :-).

Anyways, to my question .... I'm looking for a recommendtion for a good licorice flavored snus. I really love black licorice and brought back a couple of bags from the UK. They got finished in three days. So now i'm thinking it's about time i try a licorice snus and figured the fine people here would steer me right.

    TIA

LD Black for portions, and Offroad licorice for lös. If you want a more herbal take, Gotland Grey lös and portions.

I'm not a licorice fan, and I have only had this... no, I have also had Gottlandssnus Anis, but I didn't care for it, but sometimes a snus needs a revisit, but along with the others recommendations, LD Black is decent, and has a nice, slight sweet core of licorice taste. I know there is an Odens Licorice too, but I haven't had it. Offroad and Catch also have Licorice.

LD Black is hands down the best, purest licorice snus. Nothing else comes even close.

Why do I feel a twinge of guilt reading this?

I ordered LD in my first order during my sample crazy phase. I don't
even like licorice but the LD was actually quite good. True licorice
flavor without the sickening sweetness found in licorice candy. If you
are a serious licorice fiend try the LD with an ouzo chaser.

                    Bat

BatRastard, nice review. Yes, it is pure licorice that hits the sweetness, or maybe lack of sweetness perfect.

There is also no competing aftertastes as you get with many of the other licorice varieties (Offroad being the worst example)

Just really pure, super comfortable portions. Just really hits it's mark perfectly, as I am discovering seems to be true with all LD offerings

I agree with BatRastard, I hate licorice, but love LD Black

Thanks for all the replies. I see a northerner order in the very near future.

I'd never heard of LD black, found it on Northerner. That sounds like what i'm looking for. I will also include some Odens Licorice. Just working my way through a can of Oden's Kanel, really been enjoying that.
Funny no one has mentioned Catch Licorice. I'm not a great lover of white portions so i may try that one at a later date.

Once again thanks for the tips, i'll report back in when i get some here.

Catch is /ok/. The licorice is much "dryer", and doesn't have the oily texture proper(imo) licorice should have. AFAIC, LD is the only one you need to know about. They're the gold standard for licorice portions.

From what I've heard, LD Black.
