The only time I would even start to worry is if it makes it to the Senate vote, then it still has to pass the House Vote. Personally, I think way too many people are way too paranoid.

It already passed the house overwhelmingly, like only 19 no's

Of course, the House passed it last year and the Senate never acted on it.

...the bill is sponsored by Herbert (Herb) Kohl, U.S. Senator, Wisconsin. Herbert Kohl has sponsored 215 bills since Jan 14, 1991 of which 190 haven't made it out of committee and 1 were successfully enacted.

I think the bill has more sponsers then just Kohl. It lists Kohl D-Wisconsin, Leahy D-Vermont, Schumer D-New York, Specter D-Pennsylvania, Feinstein D-California, Klobuchar D-Minnesota.

...and Leahy is the committee chairman.
