Opinions on Oden's?

I tried Odens Kanel and liked it at first but it is definitely a weird snus. Its been in my freezer forever and every now and then I'll use it. The cinnamon flavor is good but it leaves a fumy lingering aftertaste on the back of the tongue and it quickly goes bitter. As far as portion material, I was fine with the paper they use but it looked cheap. What bothered me the most was the size; the portions are massive but not filled to capacity, like a maxi that is half full. Every time I use it I think I like it less. I'd love to see cinnamon done as a premium snus by another company.

Honestly, I don't think I have ever given portion material much thought. sure, I may think one is extra soft occasionally. But portion material has never played even a minor role in my like or dislike for snus. It's the taste, man. :wink:

The thing with Oden's is that once the taste of the snus goes away, the taste of the portion material comes through. The portion material of most other snus has a neutral taste, so I toss the portion when it becomes flavorless. With Oden's, a new, undesirable flavor develops the longer you keep it in...

I have never noticed that. maybe just after 2 1/2 years of having portions in my mouth I am a bit immune??

Oden's Kanel ES is my main sterk use. Switch back and forth between that or something else, but half the sterks I use are just Oden's.

The other day i was getting ready to make my big $5 off order at buysnus and i emailed them. i asked them why they did not have odens cin es loose listed on their site. They said the producer quit making it. i cried all day but it did not help any.

I am a huge Oden's fan, right now I am working on a can of Oden's Original... and I am really starting to notice the similarities to Od's ES los. I really can't say enough about this snus.

As far as Od's Cin ES los goes... it's sad to hear as I have yet to try it, so I decided i'd order some. www.getsnus.com has it for $1.65... I ordered 5 cans and got a mystery can, came out to $11.20 w/shipping. Get it while it lasts

I definitely planned on it. Thanks for the heads up, I figured they had to be a bit out of date. Oden's seems to keep very well past its date, that's my experience with the ES los.

If you're considering trying the ES los, getsnus.com has been sending me VERY fresh tins of it. BBU = 12/29/09 No worries on the ammonia smell, apparently its a sign of very fresh snus...

I didn't see it at GetSnus. I wish my first order would hurry up and get here so I could try the cinnamon es. If I like it, I would add a roll to go with my Discreet order. That's a great price.
