Thanks to Discreet also for getting my sample kit so fast. I've only tried the cool mint so far, great flavor, but I'm not sure on the nic hit cuz I just had a fat lip of Grizzly wintergreen LC (I LOVE this shit!!!). I am thrilled with this cool mint flavor though......I will buy this in the future for sure!

I like to pop two of the emerald ice at a time..I get a big nicotine hit. At $0.99 a package this is no big deal.

Again, I have never felt like I didn't have nicotine after using Discreet 30 - 40 minutes. All I care about. I can't "feel" the nicotine in ANY snus I use. I can just feel the no nicotine if I forget to use again for too long.

So Discreet works fine, super yummy flavor detour, then back to the regular stuff. I suppose if I use Discreet long enough, I can always go for the ES. But 90% of the time, I feel no need and almost always follow Discreet with a good regular White.

i wish i liked discreet as much as you, in fact, had i never discovered swedish snus, id probably love it. but i just cant make the leap back to sweet. tom is too awesome for me to guilt freely admit it, but i dont much care for his product. id like to try the full flavor and the swedish style, but the current flavors i have im going to give to someone who might appreciate them more than myself.

Maybe I was lucky. I came to Swedish long before Camel. When Camel came out, it was similar to me as to the Discreet. A very yummy cool alternative. But Camel simply wasn't that good. Discreet is much, much. better.


It is a shame you can't just turn off expectations and enjoy it for what it is. But I understand.

Don't stress, I have tried the Swedish style and it is most excellent. Top of the line snus. I just will wait until Tom has a full size, and it very well could be a Retro Replacement for me it is that good. But for daily snus, I just really don't like mini's. But taste, awesome!!!!

My thoughts exactly!

I bought 7 packs of Discreet, and while I love it (All except the full flavor), I just can't get past the mini portions of it. If they had a Swedish Style flavor and made them in regular sized portion (Which might increase the nic to 8 or a little more which is good!), I could possible find my Lucky Strike replacement.

That is, just until Lucky Strike renames their brand to Lucky Stryke or perhaps Lucky Stroke, and redistributes in the U.S.!

For the fruit flavors, I find the mini is perfect. Honestly, any bigger, I might get overwhelmed with the taste. But for all the time snus, I just think the mini "feels' wrong.

But taste wise, I think the Swedish is already better than LS White. Could really compete for my Retro Replacement spot...maybe. Need to spend a bunch more time with it, but I am gonna keep bugging Tom for bigger.

In the mean time, I am loving the Sweet flavors still as a great way to cleanse my palate when i just have been doing the salt thing for 4 hours. I just find it makes such a nice break from it all for me.

Swedish Style Test

So got the Swedish style.

For the first time EVER, an American company has made a real Swedish snus. Period, this is the real deal. It is a mild, white mini. For those that haven't dug the sweetness of the rest of Tom's offering, there is no sweet. Just a perfect, mild white, similar in many ways to Retro White, but not quite as strong.

But a fabulous snus. If Swedish got taken away, and I just had this, I could be happy forever with it. Would I go out of my way to buy it otherwise, probably not, at least until a full sized came out. I love the other Discreet for a specific purpose, otherwise, I am not much of a mini man.

But absolutely top notch, top quality. Like it even better than Swedish Camel. And full size, would probably compete for my Retro replacement spot.

I'm it President and chief bottle washer so things can get done fast , second we are comming out with a loose TOMAHAWK this has been taking up most of my time lately this will be directed at U.S. dippers in taste and will be to START two tins at 99 cents

I'll have to pick up a pouch or two at some point and give it a try. So far I have not seen any for sale locally. Guess I'll just wait until it hits a store here.

That's my only gripe with Discreet. There minis. I can see the niche market for them being minis, as that's the only snus my wife has liked so far, but to me, my mouth feels empty with a mini. The nic is decent in them and the flavor is excellent, but I prefer regulars.

Tom I'll gladly be your guinea pig. Dip and me go way back. And if you can pull off a snus that behaves and tastes like an American dip...well you'll be a very wealthy man....not to mention my hero.
