Thunder Blue

All right...can's been sitting in my fridge for nearly a week now since reading Chad's review.

I'll take the plunge tonight and throw in my 3 cents!

most def give it a try. you may like it. and if you don't like it (or phantom blue for that matter), a piece of advice from a wise friend on here, don't let that turn you off of phantom blue los. it's really good.

Ok. It's in. Been in for about an hour. Why am I here? Oh yea...I have to say, believe it or not this is my first overpowering windex smell from a can. I'm sure it was in others, but this is from the can being 4 feet from my face. At least I was warned.
The flavor is definatly a bit sweeter the the gote rape I had last week. I'm either not a big fan of juniper or my tastes are not yet refined enough to appreciate it. That said, it's not horrible. I immediatly noticed a "cooling" sensation on the gums that's still there an hour later. I kind of enjoy this as I kinda miss the burn sensation and it's nice to have something I guess. Flavor seems to mellow a bit at this point and is actually a bit better.

I won't relegate this one to the freezer yet. I'll give it a few more tries over the next week before I make any final decisions. I have the feeling this and gote rape may be one of those I keep hearing about that people go back to a few months later and like.

Ok, I'm snusing my first Thunder Blue at this very moment. Strong windex smell, but I like that, feels like I'm disinfecting my mouth. The taste is not bad....like a mixture of Thunder original and Thunder frosted, with a hint of Thunder wintergreen and, of course, windex. Anyway, I'm becoming increasingly convinced that Thunder is my brand, so I'm delighted that I just received 10 Thunder original, 6 Thunder wintergreen, 5 Thunder frosted, and 2 Thunder blue (+ a random tin of Skruf Stark white).

On the other hand, my appreciation may be due to the fact that I was down to my three last cans, all of which were los, which I don't really like at all (I hate the stationary state of los; I love squeezing the juice out of portions with my teeth). The only los I can tolerate is Offroad WG long cut, but that's because it feels more natural somehow to lower-deck snus -- and it's easier to speak to people when it can't fall down any further. My other los snus; Oden los; was disgusting.

I was wondering if anyone else did that. I've noticed the longer I have a snus in, as it gets close to it's end, I have this maneuver I do where I squeeze my lip against my teeth and squeeze the last bit of love out of it.

oh hell yea...I go as far as putting my knuckles on the lip and pushing....sure i looks the fool when I'm doin that maneuver.

I just pull the portion out of my lip and suck on it :^D There's nothing left of them when I'm finished. I payed for all the flavor, and I absolutely will get all I can out of them :^D

Tried second portion and took it out within 5 minutes and replaced it with Discreet Strawberry...much better! :P Just seemed to actually be able to smell the windex while I was using this one...*shuddering at the memory*. Might give it one more try, and that's it! Took me 3 times to be able to handle the GoatRape so maybe this will be the same way.

Just received mine.

I will admit it does have a very windex smell to it. It taste pretty good. A bit of juniper to it so far. I just tried it now. Spicy so far (even though I just brushed my teeth 30 minutes ago). I think I will freeze it so the smell isn't so offensive to me. I'll also update some more later for my after meal snus YUMMY.

See I thought the Blue smelled(and even tasted a bit) like Pine Sol. Everybody else says Windex, but I don't completely agree.

I just realized how jumbled my sentence structure was on my last post.

My after dinner snus was enjoyable with it. I tried it frozen and boy did they stick together due to how fresh it is. I tried to smell for pine but I just couldn't smell it. I definitely like this flavor as it is strong, flavorful, and enjoyable. I see where some people say it has a hint of gin to it once its in for about 25 - 30 minutes. Overall I would say it's about a fifth place finish overall for flavored snuses. I will add another 2 cans to my order around Christmas time

Yea you say that and then some novice wannabe löser like me comes along, does the same thing, then the portion baggie breaks, and now I've got a mouth full of lös.......Wait a second....THIS IS GREAT ADVICE!!!

I have this kind of split personality: I like both natural and flavored snus. I would put Thunder Blue in the flavored category, but bergamot flavor in the natural category (just feels right). So here is how they perform in my subjective opinion, including all relevant attributes (taste, nicotine, moisture etc.) except price.

Natural:
1 Thunder Original
2 Lucky Strike White
3 Camel Original
4 General Sterk
5 Grov Black

Flavored:
1 Thunder Wintergreen
2 Thunder Frosted
3 General Onyx
4 Thunder Blue
5 Skruf Cranberry

So the Thunder line is the best performer, and even better than this if price matters (it does).
