I've got some snus math for you guys ... (nicotine content)

Okay, so General ekstra sterk has 15 mg/g nicotine, whereas thunder has 16 mg/g. However, the portion sizes differ. Let's use simple math to determine which one really is the strongest per portion:

General ekstra sterk has 22 portions, weighing 24 g combined
24 / 22 = 1.0909

So this is how many grams one portion contains. Now let's multiply that number by 15, to see how any mgs og nicotine it contains.

10.0909 * 15 = 16.363

So one portion of general ekstra sterk contains rougly 16.4 mgs og nicotine


Thunder ekstra sterk has 24 portions, that weigh 22.6 gram combined

22.6 / 24 = 0.9416

0.9416 * 16 = 15.0666



So I'm not really sure. What do you guys make of this? Is there anything wrong with my calclulations, or is general ekstra sterk stronger than thunder ekstra sterk, despite the higher mg/g level?

I've been snusing for about a year now. Haven't gone a single day without, haha. It costs a fortune here, though, and it's illegal to order from buysnus, so I'm stuck with paying the equivalent of about $10-12 for one box

ooor not exactly illegal, but there's a possibility of the package being stopped. Then you have to pay A LOT more to recieve it, so it isn't really worth it

I started snus about 28 months ago with no intention of quitting smoking. I was managing a fund raising call center and hated leaving the sales floor so much for a cigarette. So all I hoped from snus was a way to not have to leave so much. but over about 6 weeks, I just smoked less and less, used snus more and more and one day, just stopped buying cigarettes. It was then i figured out how much money i was saving so just didn't look back.

Sucks it is so expensive, but i am assuming cigarettes are that bad for you too?? So you do what you have to guess.
