I went with paperboard, for traditions sake really. I like the look and feel, and since I don't los in situations where my can will get soaked through with tobacco juice and sweat (happened once, never again).
I like plastic and tin too, but for me it's paperboard for everyday use.
That being said, if I start using los in situations where moisture could screw up the can, I would probably invest in an Icetool can or something of the like.
My opinion could change though, since I've only now started using Los from plastic cans, Gotlandssnus to be specific.

i prefer the plastic cans for los it stays fresher the paper ones fall apart in your pocket bit a metal one would be cool but after a while the snus might taste like metal

I like the paperboard tins, I would like them better if the lids were tighter fitting. I use a General portion lid on my paperboard los tins because it fits tighter.

Sometimes plastic is nice (in the rain, sweaty days) but I have very few issues with the paperboard tins and as of yet have not had my los in paperboard dry out.

I do only keep one open tin at a time, so I use them up pretty fast, never had a tin open for more than five days.

Im finding i am getting really picky about my snus drying out.. theres just nothing like a fresh can of los... portions i dont mind much at all, but the los i just LOVE fresh..

Dont get me wrong though, i still cant bring myself to waste snus  I just add some water to the los and although not as good as original and fresh, its still pretty tasty..

So, my vote went the way of plastic even if i do agree with the traditional stuff too..

            What los comes in tin?

The only things I can think of are Monte, Taboca, and R&J, because they're portions come in tin. What am I missing?

There is a los Taboca that comes in a tin..if I recall correctly, it is only 35g but pretty tasty for an occasional snus.

I said tin. I like a nice sturdy can, i am all over the place climbing up shit, doing dumb stuff. I need something that holds up well. As for my snus drying out.. a tin of los doesn't last a day with me any way.

One of the biggest reasons i bout certain portions was for the metal tins, now i got me my slimcase. But would love to see offroad produce some metal tins.

I went the traditional route as the world has enough plastic in it already.
I use the 1847 metal can for transport when riding as it is durable and
has a strong lid. The paperboard seem to swell and hold the lid well for
normal use where as the plastic and metal cans catch while opening which is
a recipe for spillage. My much loved Luckies are the worst at this.

IMHO the best choice is to have ones lip surgically enhanced to accept
an entire can of lös. Then perhaps the snus producers will skip the
whole can thing and start selling bulk. Sign me up for the first
55 gallon drum of Prima Fint!

                        Bat
