I generally stick to one or two brands. So I usually use the ashtray lid to store one type of portions. I just received an Icebox as a gift , so I'm thinking of using some of my old tins to make 3 compartments. I am worried though that having multiple brands in the same container could cause cross-flavoring.

You could get little ziplock baggies and keep different types separated. Actually that would be easier than making compartments. Use little baggies like the Toque snuff cans come in. A few of those could be mashed in a single Snus Can, label the baggies.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I ride my honda ruckus everywhere I go, so I usually have a backpack. If that's the case I take 5 cans with me. If I'm going out in the car or on foot though I settle for one and throw 2 or 3 of another kind in the lid.

I have an old small camera bag that I use to transport my snus between home and work in. It holds 6 cans and my icetool. I usually only have 4 cans: three loose and one portion.
If I'm out there is just a can of Skruf Loose in my pocket.

I save all my snus catcher lids and carry three or four of
Them with me all loaded with whatver I am in the mood for
It work pretty good a few lids is about the size of a can and it is more discreet at work where that would be frowned on.

Just found an excellent way to carry snus. Use a Lowepro lens case! Well, it helps if you already have one or two, but they're relatively cheap and, depending on the size you get, they'll hold several cans. Carry it on your belt, in your briefcase, or on a strap around your neck. Nobody has to know what's inside. They'll think you're a photographer!

They definitely don't fit the description of "man-bag".

I have one of those aluminum water bottles that I carry to work and they make insulated sleeves for them. You could easily fit about 10 tins in one of the sleeves:

At work, I always have 3 cans in my backpack. When I'm out in summer my shorts have cargo pockets with lots of room. When I'm out in winter I carry them in my jacket pockets...

Here's my latest tin - this one is the best.
It's the same size as the Taboca Strong Mini (and is made by them I think) but it has some kind of coating on the tin that makes it seal air tight.

26 regular sized snus in a mini tin:

Contains a mixture of General Sterk, LS white, Camel white (JTI), General Onyx, 1847 and Grov Svart.

That looks nice Kitabz. The Montecristo makes a sharp tin.

what do you use for dividers? and how are they attached to the tin? are you satisfied with its flavor separation? im so intrigued.

I tend to just throw a handful of them in an old Mini tin and call it a day. That way I never know what to expect. I like the randomness of it
