i have some of that in the fridge, unopened, untried as of yet. as i have 3 los open (oden's, phantom blue, and OR), i have to finish off one of those suckers first to open it. i finished off a portion tin today, so i only have 8 of those suckers open currently.

OK, I'll blaze a trail here then: I thought it sucked. I was standing atop a mountain peak in the High Cascades and cursed myself for only bring Retro white. Damnit. 1,379 to 1. But of course I don't blame you sage. I haven't liked any of your recommendations! Just kidding. Pall Mall regular was pretty good And yes, most everyone else skips merrily down the path you point to.

Sorry for getting off your subject wadetheblade. I was simply paying a compliment where I believed it was due. Maybe what your going through is some kind of adjustment or something. I have seen a few threads saying it takes a while to start detecting the more subtle flavors. When you said you didn't taste anything did you mean nothing at all or do you taste some salt but nothing else.

Lol I agree Snusdog. Didn't mean to call you out, I just noticed you were the only other severely internet-challenged individual on here. That was slightly embarrassing though, sorry about that! At least we are decent spellers and gramtically correct most of the time. Right? That must count for something... I knew it would make me look better if I asked for help for both of us. We were on the same very, very small team 8)

I found the General loose to be decently flavorful. Not really FLAVOR full, but flavorful for a lack of words. I recently tried Skoal Citrus and the flavor in it is unbelievably good if a bit too sweet. While I do like the mellow peppery taste of the loose, I would really love to be able to enjoy some flavors. Not sure why these companies don't make any flavored loose. I guess its just not in demand. Portions are great for such flavor, but I like the intimacy of baking. lol.

You also have to keep in mind that Swedish Match and other snus companies cater to Swedish tastes. Americans and other Europeans make up a small portion of the market for their products, so while it may seem like a lot of the people here are asking for more potent flavours, they have their main client-base nailed down pretty well. If you've ever had some of the less well known Scandinavian foods, it'll be pretty apparent they have different tastes than the rest of us. Even with mineral water, anybody else ever drink a Farris? Way different from Perrier, or other more familiar brands. Personally, I think I could live off Farris and snus, but that's me.

LoL Roo I'm glad you did. I really did not even realize I was doing it wrong-that's how challenged I am. Thanks again mate. I’m glad to have a friend to ride the short bus with- I’ll save you a seat.
