    Gotlandsnus

I'm just curious for anyones opinion on their products. I've tried their Green variety, and really enjoy it. From what I've read of the Northerner reviews, it's either a "love it" or "hate it" brand.
Also, how is their los snus? I'm intrigued by the fact that they include a little more nicotine in all their brands but also include a little more tobacco in their los snus.
Also, how about Jakobsons? They're also from Gotlandsnus. To be perfectly frivolous about it, the way awesome Jakobson can is what struck my curiosity.
Thanks to all who offer thoughts.

Gotlandsnus is my favorite manufacturer, bar none. Gotland Yellow lös is my favorite snus, and I enjoy all of their products immensely.

I've had many of them, and I like Ice Fruit and Yellow a lot. They're interesting and unique, definitely worth trying.

Gotlands Yellow los was the first "non-flavored" one that I tried and I liked it. Haven't finished the can off yet, but eventually I will.

I've only had the green portions, and grey los, and love them both. I haven't tried the yaller yet, but plan to real soon!

As for the Jak's BIG thumbs down! I can't stand the stuff, but quite a few people love it! It's all up to personal taste. I would never recommend to someone not to try a brand! Who knows, you might end up lovin it! 8)

Yellow loose has too much citrus for me. I prefer Skruf, Prima Fint type flavors.

Green is my favorite of the bunch, mostly because there isn't really anything like it out there at the moment. The Yellow is pretty good. I'm not much of a fan of the Gray, but I do like the los for some reason.

Gotlands yellow los was one of my favorite snus brands. It is a quality product and well worth your try.

Recently though I burned out a bit on the bitterness (which I consider to be a product of their natural ingredients and which by the way, if I remember correctly, is one of the things that lxskllr really likes about Gotlands). The long and short of it is that I’ve taken a break from it for a while.

That said, I would highly recommend the yellow los it if you have not tried it.

I'm definitely already a big fan of green. On my next order I plan on getting grey and yellow, portion and los. I'll also be tryin out Jakobsons. Not icefruit, all I hear about that is it tastes like juicyfruit and i HATE juicyfruit :x

EDIT: course I could be wrong. Anyone who's tried icefruit have a take on it? Juicyfruit? yay or nay?

I love the IceFruit, but I wouldn't give an unconditional recommendation like I do the other snus. People seem to love it or hate it with little middle ground. I like minty snus, but not really fruit too much. Both flavors are mellow in the IceFruit, and aren't overbearing imo. The way they blend together makes a nice summer snus, but not an all dayer.

It's worth a try, but if you're short on cash, I'd get other things that have a higher certainty of you liking them. If money isn't an object, give it a shot. If it sucks, your only out about $3. The cost of a cheapish pint at the pub :^)

And a cheapish pint is gone in what, like two minutes? Can't go wrong giving it a try IMHO. I always feel like that one snus that I didn't try could have turned out to be my favorite! Like lx said, there is really no middle ground with Ice Fruit...you might just be one that loves it! I'm not knocking IMO Gotlandssnus has some of the highest quality snus out there! As far as los goes, it has the perfect grind for me!

Only tried got. green. I liked it at first and that apple taste isn't all that attractive anymore.

speaking of the "perfect grind" i just popped a pris of Roda Lacket Los...talk about play doh, it might be enough to get me back into handbaking.

Absolutely stellar snus (all varieties) but lately I've started to use less of the Yellow portions as I tend to prefer something simpler for an all day snus. Still a regular order though along with the grey and the green portions. The latter I've become quite partial to and it is probably the only "fruit" flavoured snus I can use with any regularity.

The lös is outstanding though! Can't get enough of the yellow and anise.

Jak Original is an occasional order for me, and I am still undecided about the Ice fruit after gone through quite a few cans. I find it pleasant but wish they would have gone for the berry flavour and left out the mint as I get bored of the mint taste halfway through a can.

I'd say definitely try the Yellow in portion and lös and the Green. Perhaps also the anise if you enjoy a more herbal licorice flavour.
