Ok I am being pressured to come up with a father's day gift for my family to give me, so naturally I picked snus. The problem is as a snubie the two big areas of snus I've been eyeing is either trying los or extra stark snus. Which one should I choose? Getsnus has a beginners Los package, but the problem is I've also been wanting to try Oden ES Cinnamon, CQ, and Thunder. Help me out folks, what's next?

I don't know how much you're looking to spend, but I would get the starter kit and a couple of single tins of the other kinds you want to try!

Everything together shouldn't be more than $60 or so. Hope this helps.

So far I am going to get three cans of Ettan's Original, after that about $20 left. I have enough of the other starter tins in the Top 10 save Lucky Strike or Skruf stark. I just would like a nice nic hit in AM and at bedtime. I must be getting used to the nicotine in Grov Svart because it doesn't hit very well except as first snus of day.

Skruf Stark packs a really nice punch, for me anyway. That and Claq Qui give me a nicer hit than just about anything. I like them better than the General ES even!

I ordered a can of Ettan los and Skruf Stark los with my first order, but I had been dipping for about 20 years. Not that it really mattered, because los snus is a whole different world than dip IMO.

As far as the Skruf, I found it to be excellent! It has a wonderful flavor, more complex than the Ettan. The nic hit was nice too. Not headspinningly overwhelming just nice and steady. Great morning snus for me.

I would advise you to spend the extra $2 for a prismaster if you don't have one. It's pretty much the Ford Pinto version of the Icetool, but it serves the purpose.

Start off with one can of los just to see if you're into the whole los experience. Remember that you get twice as much per can. Skruf Stark is a good one to try

That's another good suggestion. I guess sometimes I get carried away and either go head long into one type and leave out the others. It's hard, I just want to experience of all of it faster than my body or my wallet can handle.

I waited till the second order to try loose. I was "afraid" and kinda weary of all the talk of mudd slides and such. Now I only use about 3 portions a day and about 5 prilla or so. I've found IMO that the flavor of the loose is very subtle and I don't get that flood of salavia and juice. I'm actually ordering a lot more loose than I am portions now...and had no intentions of ever even trying it!

My top suggestions on loose : Roda Lacket, Gotlands Gray Anis, Goteborgs Rape and Prima Fint, and the Probe Whiskey (doesn't taste like whiskey but still tastey to me)

If you order this from buysnus, you get a free Prismaster with 10 cans or more (order has to contain los snus)...I have 3 prismasters already so now I just get the free can of snus.
