Phantom Brown Review

So this was a snus I was very excited to try. I read some other folks takes on it and I thought it would fit me very well.

I like the smell, but there is something wrong with the taste. Just a very off putting flavor that I can't quite identify. I have been using it off and on all day, and each time, i am spitting it out sooner and sooner.

Not a fake, "typical" Offroad taste, just something in the snus that really disagrees with me.

Sage, did you "age " it? The lös I ahd was VERY fresh. The combination of ammonia smell and overpowering juniper flavor made the first couple of pris horrible. 24 hours later it was better,and after a week it was almost wonderful. I haven't dug into the portions yet.

Well, since I am going through it slowly, if at all, I guess we will try the aging. Regardless, know enough by now to never trust my initial opinion of any snus.

i just tried the portions today and i really like them! kinda tastes like a cross between the chocolateyness of ettan and the juniper notes in GR. i was suprised it was so quality. im slowly becoming a v2 fan,if they keep releasing quality snus they might become my favorite producer! the nordstrommen dark vanilla los blew my socks off today!

So thought I would just make a follow-up report on this.

I did as some suggested and let my can air out for a week. I came back to it, and I must say I liked it MUCH better. Still not 100% sure if it is something I will like long term, but I enjoyed it much more and surprised myself yesterday when the can was gone.

I still have one more in the freezer, and will give it another try in a month. But, definitely think much better of it now.
