which type/brand of (portion) Snus with black coffee

Still new to the world of Snus. Been at it for about 2 wks.

For you coffee drinkers out there, what kind of Snus do you find goes best with/complements black coffee/espresso?

I want to make sure that I can taste both at the same time and don't want the coffee to overwhelm the snus (vice versa).

I am also a relatively light snuser so I can't handle the sterk/extra strong portions yet.

Suggestions?

I only drink my coffee with lots of cream and sweetener. But I imagine the answer is the same regardless.

Any non flavored snus will be yummy with coffee. Any non flavored snus you like will simply be made even better with the coffee. Tobacco and coffee are just complementary, why so many of us used to smoke with our coffee. In fact, it was the hundreds of hours that I spent smoking and drinking coffee as a teenager cause that's what us cool kids did that got me hooked on cigarettes n the first place.

Flavored snus, not so good. Except for maybe probe, but then again, whiskey and coffee is always a favorite of mine too. :lol:

I couldn't agree more! Any traditional snus seems to be the perfect match with coffee. General original with black coffee. My favorite way to start the day. Grov is right up there too.

It's odd though that I really don't like onyx with coffee....it's has too much citrus to match up with black coffee.

Avoid any flavored with coffee (ronda, gote' 2, general wintergreen, phantom classic or blue, etc) They're all to sweet for me in the morning.

It will always be Ettan for me. 8) Not a big fan of Grov, but I did like it best with coffee when I still used it.

Agreed on all those points. Ettan and Grov are great. I had the same problem with Onyx, but sometimes it does form an interesting contrast to an espresso.

I also love Skruf Original portions with coffee. Probably because its the snus I tend to use most and the first thing I do in the morning when I get to work is have a cup of black coffee and a portion of Skruf. As the Skruf is quite muted in flavour the coffee does overpower it somewhat but not too much.

Nicky and Johnny or Skruf Sterk is what I have been using. Both are great with coffee first thing to me.

In my opinion, General does NOT go well with coffee. The lime flavor collides with the coffee and ends up tasting pretty bad. However, I love coffee with any kind of non-flavored snus. Grov, Lucky Strike, Ettan (especially) etc...

I'm usually rockin a strong/extra strong when I drink my morning coffee, then regulars at work. I sip my coffee, and don't guzzle it. So when I;m sipping coffee I taste coffee, and in between sips I taste snus. The only thing

I find is that drinking coffee will use up a portion pretty quickly.
