    Gotlands Yellow Los

So I have now FINALLY tried this. All I can say is wow. I can't believe I waited so long to try it. It is fabulous, even the aroma of it in the can is fantastic. This one is for sure going into my regular rotation.

On another note, I ordered from getsnus and to my surprise, my mystery can was NOT ettan white, thank goodness. Instead I got grov los, which I look forward to trying later. It smells a lot like general los to me, but we will see how it tastes after I finish my lovely pris of yellow.

Thanks for the review Brian. I can't wait till next week. Perhaps the snus gods will shine on me and I will get my order on Saturday. I can only hope. I'll let you know what I think when I get it.

I enjoy the portions a lot too. I think it is lsk...hell if I know without looking at your name  , that said that the portions and the los are totally different. I agree. Just like he described, the los has a more citrusy flavor upfront with that evergreen type flavor more in the background, where the portions are opposite. I also have noticed that the los does not have the bitterness of the portions. I enjoy the bitterness, but like have the option of not having it.

On a different note, I now have a pris of grov in and OMG, it DOES taste like dill pickles lol. Good thing I love dill pickles. I like my first taste of it though it will take me longer to form a solid opinion of it.

If you like dill pickles give Retro a try if you haven't already. Sadly there's no los version but maybe one day.

There's a few people that say this, but I have a hard time getting pickle flavor. If I really look for it I can find pickles, but I have to really look.

I'm glad you liked the Gotland Gul. They're my favorite snus maker. If they'd come out with a plainer snus like Grov, I could buy exclusively from them(but wouldn't. There's plenty of other snus' I dig)

I can't find the pickle taste in Grov. I've been using it for a long time and all I can taste is rich tobacco, salt, and a barely-there sweetness that comes through after a while. People mention the pickles all the time and I really can't find it in Grov.

I'm with you lxskllr. Bring on a plain tobacco Gotlands product, preferably with coarse grind their loose featured in the early days.

I have to fill in the blanks to get that flavor. It's like a sentence that's missing a bunch of words, but someone tells you the gist of the sentence. You can fill in the words to get the meaning that you were told, but other words fit also, and give a different meaning.
