Sorry for more stupid questions, but could someone give me the short run down on white snus...is it just about the flavour?I use Ettan Los and are wondering if i might enjoy the white portions(but generally find portions not strong enough) and one more.... on Northerner they mention some of their products as containing average or strong nicotine content , so is average 8 milligrams??? thanks in advance Kevin.

White portions are not as moist, and the flavor lasts longer in some cases.
Yes on Northerner average strentgh is 8mg, unless you are talking about minis, then I believe it's 4mg. -
kevin, there is no such things as stupid questions. Every single one of us was new at some point, why this forum exists.
All regular portions are about 8 mg. Whites are made a bit differently. Most significant difference is they are not made wet as a final step the way regular portions are. Strength should be the same between regular and whites. However, the whites a re a bit slower to come on, so not quite the immediate hit of nicotine as you would get with regulars.
About a year ago, I switched over to mostly whites. For me, suddenly, after using snus for a year, the regulars just started juicing up too much for me to tolerate. best advice is to try some whites. Maybe you like them, maybe you will prefer regular. But you won't know unless you try.Comment

The nicotine hit won't be as fast because it takes longer for white portions to become moist. However, if you keep in the portion for an hour, you won't notice a difference between a regular or white portion.
Personally, I prefer original portions. White portions give me the feeling of having a napkin in my upper lip, which is something I definitely don't like. Others prefer white portions because the flavor is more subtle and mellow. There is no right or wrong though. Its all about personal preference. Try both the original and white portion of your favorite brand to see what you prefer.Comment
