    Grovsnus svart

Hello all, I'm new here, but have been snusing for quite a while. Anyways, anybody here also a fan of grovsnus svart? I had been using general portions, and ettan and general los for quite a while, with a little goteborgs no2 thrown in. I recently decided to switch it up a bit and ordered a can of svart and a can of grov los. Wow! Just something about the flavor really made me fall in love. It's incredibly smooth tasting and seems to have the right amount of salt. It has the same potent tobacco flavor as general but instead of citrus it's got vanilla undertones. It just sits right with me. The los is great too, but I think general will stay my #1 los for now, but I'll be sure to always have a can of grov los on hand.

I guess I'm just a Swedish match slut.

I like the stuff too. To me it tastes like marshmallows, and the salt is more of an afterthought. Someone said it reminded them a lot of a certain Swedish candy, Ahlgrens Bilar. I'm almost tempted to order the candy to try it out.

I found that Grov Svart goes really well with coffee. The sweetness from the snus adds to the coffee, so I end up using less sweetener with it. I can't really do it with soda, though, because then it's just too sweet for my taste, though it's not too bad with Coke every now and then.

Ha! That was me! Bilar is really quite good, and you can get it with just 50 bonus points at Northerner.

I like grovsnus, but don't seem to order it often. But I like to throw it in as a bit of a change every now and then.

Just popped in a portion of Svart right before I saw this thread I like it a good bit. It lasts forever too. Grov is all around a top 3 favorite brand for me in all its forms. Very salty, which to me is a very good thing.

                I don't care for it.

Doesn't pair well with cheap beer and expensive bourbon.

OT but what is bakerbarber's favorite bourbon? Me loves Booker's Bourbon, absolute best IMHO.

Ah good stuff, in more of a scotch mood today. Glenmorangie should fit the bill.

I'm not a huge bourbon fan, but Blanton's is my favorite, followed by Knob Creek.

Scotch OTOH, is my absolute favorite alcoholic beverage. Glenmorangie's very good, but a little lighter than what I prefer. I like the smoky Isleys, and the sherried brands.
