I have a can of Skruf Stark, and a can of General ES. Something I have noticed is that the portions of Skruf seem to be thinner and maybe contain less tobacco than the portions of General, which tend to be thicker even while the tobacco is spread out evenly throughout the pouch. Is this something that is common between different brands of snus or am I just getting shorted on my portions from the skruf? I honestly don't mind the thinner portion because it seems to fit better in my lip than the thicker ones, however I am just curious being that I am rather new to this.

You're not being shorted. The general ES portions actually contain a little more than normal, somewhere in the area of 1.2g while the skruf is 1g. However, you'll notice that while your can of skruf has 24 portions, a can of general ES has 20, but it works out to the same 24g of tobacco per can.
