Did you see what they have done to our beloved Retro cans?

I did. And I can't say I am really happy about it. I grew up in the 70's, I'm not sure I want to be reminded of it every day. Me thinks I might just save the old cans to carry around.

I like the new tins. The only thing that would make them better, is if they put them in a Metropol shaped tin.

Right, it definitely looks Retro. Reminds me of the packaging of early blank audio and video cassette tapes.

You should try it. It's a damned good portion snus. It's mostly tobacco flavored, fairly salty, and a slight bitter herbal touch. It's kind of like Grov, but less chocolate, and more herbs. It would be a regular for me if I used portions more.

I'd agree but I have noticed a hint of juniper which makes it really nice with a martini.

You're probably right. I think that may be the herbal quality I was thinking of. It's been awhile since I've had it. The juniper would be closer to LD Blue than Göteborgs Rapé.

Ah yes silly me, I see it now on Northerner. I thought you were talking about candy or something  . Hmm, I probably wouldnt like it if it's a tobacco-flavoured snus. If and when my tastebuds change more (if sage is wrong then  jk) I have a can of Ettan to test the water. Meanwhile I'm happy with my OR WG los & portion, Gotlands grey los, Oden's kanel los & portion, LD Black, Mocca M, Catch, & Thunder WG with plenty more in the pipeline. Must try Phantom Blue. Not keen on juniper, had a bad experience with gin when I was 14, so I can't hack GR  .

Try the Retro White, ESPECIALLY if you are trying to expand into more traditional flavors. It is very mild, will not overpower you in any way. I think it makes a great bridge to more traditional flavors.

Retro White really is a favorite of mine.

Noted and added to my next order, thanks . Did you start out with a preference for the more flavoured snuses, sage?

I largely stayed away from tobacco flavored for close to three months when I first started using snus. I didn't think I would like them so I was always using the flavored stuff. but eventually, I tried them and started to like them. I then always took a flavored one and a non flavored one with me everywhere I went and would alternate through the day between them.

But starting about 6 months ago, so 18 to 20 months into my snus usage, the flavored ones really started to turn on me and I started using them less and less. Lately, I have been far more likely to pair up something like oynx, or another strong tobacco flavor, with a more mild white and alternate that way.

But just got the Oden's Cinnamon extra Stark, and it is by far my new favorite flavored snus. I can't handle more than about 4 extra stark a day though, so will most likely pick up the non stark version and go back to using that and a tobacco flavor throughout the day. For the first time in months, it is a flavored snus that doesn't seem to turn on me rapidly

btw, another relatively mellow tobacco flavored snus us M by Mocca

I have a sort of fetish for the '70s, so I like the design. Too bad they're only portions and only regular nic or I'd be sure and get some.

Duly noted, a los version of Retro would be outstanding. Oh and Raddle, try the regular Retro as well as the white, unless of course you are a white-portion guy.

I like both white and regular, so I'll get both . Thanks. One white that might as well be a regular is LD Black, the flavour is that intense imo.
