I haven't flown with it, but it shouldn't be an issue. I wouldn't fly overseas with 20 rolls or anything. They may think you're smuggling snus ;^)

I flew 2 weeks ago, took 3 cans of snus(plastic, not metal) and 3 plastic boxes full of snuff in my carry on with no issues. They paid more attention to my MP3 player.

One thing that I did notice.. I had some spare cans in my checked luggage in a vacuum sealed bag. When I got to my destination the bag was no longer vacuumed tight. Not opened, my bag was locked, but the seal seemed to let go. Maybe it was a pressure thing? The snus was fine, just not as I left it.

did you fly with unopened cans?

with my luck they would throw it all out. Camel just hit the market here as of 2 weeks ago. So i'm assuming the security people are clueless as to what it is. I'm even more certain they would be more clueless to Swedish snus.

No issues going through security with snus. My last trip was to Uzbekistan through many airports, and no one batted an eye

I've been through security and customs with ten cans of snus with no problem at all. I know you can't have more than 2 cartons of cigarettes when traveling internationally, but with snus you can have quite a bit.

The cans in my carry on were open. They didn't even notice. I'm sure people fly all the time with round cans of dip so it's probably old hat to security. Most of them couldn't tell the difference between dip and snus and their a-holes anyway.

You have the right to fly with it. Just like you could pack 10 granola bars and fly with them.

I have flown many times. Open, closed, whichever never even raised an eyebrow. Snus both in my bag through x-ray and in my pockets putin the basket. Simply not an issue.

but of course...they would rather make an issue out of that over sized tube of toothpaste and the extra ounce of shampoo.

The Mocca cans just look like a can of mints (out of no where she adds)

They should make snus with fluoride in it. I would totally use that after every meal.

I'm in the Merchant Marine and have to fly all over the World to catch ships.

I also have to carry large amounts with me because our mail is so hosed up to the ship.

I usually carry three cans in my carry on. One is one and being used to get through the airports and the flights.

I use a map mailer tube in my largest bag to transport the bulk of my Snus to the ship.

Let me tell you... Snus is heavy when it is packed that way.

Security going out of the US and into foreign countries is a non issue. They either don't know what it is or think it is Snuff.

Coming back into the US... be careful. That is where TSA and Customs stores their YAY WHOOS that like to ask silly questions.

I'm usually running on fumes (2 or 3 cans) coming back to the US and my next order is waiting for me at home.

I've never had any problems flying with snus. They asked me about my Icetool one time, but I explained what it was for and they gave it right back to me.

I have flown with two rolls of unopened snus in my checked baggage and both made it through intact and unopened.
