Just kidding. I need to give Phantom another try. Gonna go for the los though, as recommended by everyone. Phantom Blue portions are still the worst snus I've ever tried. Tied with OR Coffee Vanilla that is. But I'm going with Blue Los on my next order. What the hell.

Ahhh, the snus I love to hate. :P

Phantom was definitely the first one that I disliked; I almost blew my groceries when I opened the tin and caught a whiff of that famous unique stench. I had to force myself to put a portion in my mouth, and it did not stay there long. It also holds the honor of being the only tin of snus I have ever thrown away, shared only by Probe.

To be fair though, it has been over a year since then....I have contemplated purchasing another tin just to see if my tastes have changed. If I ever do, I would rather get a tin of the los and just go from there. :wink:

Phantom portions just plain suck. Both versions are in my top 5 most hated snus'. The lös is ok, but I'll never buy another V2 portion. I've had both Phantoms, and 2 different sets of limited edition portions, and I've only been able to force myself to finish 1 tin out of the 22. I think it was coffee/vanilla... I should get a medal for finishing that :^D

Ok, I'll step up for the other side. I love Phantom. Los or portions. Blue more than Classic. The portions feel good, no pain involved. I really like the citrus taste of Blue. Classic seems to me to have a light herbal note, similar to Gotlandssnus Yellow. Phantom Blue is my #1 snus, Classic would be around #6. Plus, I have yet to get the infamous smell you all hate so much.

Probe and Elyxer PE were the only 2 snus I couldn't survive a whole can though. So maybe I'm just a cheap snusaholic. You guys can feel free to send me all the Phantom you don't want. Ill give it a good home. :lol:

Well I just had my 4th portion of the classic a little bit ago and it's getting better. Still not good mind you but tollerable. Who knows by the end of the can(if I make it that far)I might even like it. I should be getting my northerner order tomorrow with a can of the blue. I hope it's better. It really was supprising to not like the classic because it was the first snus I actually took out after 10 min(a long 10 min). I liked every other snus I've tried so far and it's a good variety:

Personally, I recommend that you try General and compare them. They are two different renditions of the same flavor profile. Phantom, imo, is slightly sweet, the citrus is different, and it's a bit more peppery. General has the characteristic SM undertaste and doesn't seem as course. I love them both (and Granit too). If you tried all three of these (they all come in portions too, fyi), then you would have a good idea on how you feel about this flavor profile.

Let us know about the Phantom Blue.

No liquid smoke in Phantom also. I love General but wish they didn't add the smoke additive as it irritates my throat somewhat.

I just got some Phantom los last week, and loved it so much I ordered portions of classic and blue. Never thought I'd like it, since I primarily like N&J & Claq Qui.

I am trying to get some Phantom Classic if I can ever get my cart problems worked out at Northerner. I have already posted my thoughts on Phantom Blue, that stuff is just tops. If I had to limit myself to only two kinds of snus, it would be GES and PB.
