    Lös Suggestions?

I just got into lös recently, and I really like it for when I'm in my room relaxing or doing schoolwork, and on the occasion I get to pwn some noobs on COD4. So far I've only tried Ettan and want to expand my horizons some. I really like Ettan, and I'm definitely ordering another tin of it. I was also thinking of getting Grov and Göteborgs Prima Fint. I'm tempted to try out Roda Lacket too, but wanted to see what others thought of it first.

Since you like the Ettan, I think you should also like Roda and Prima Fint. They're all kinda mild flavor find grind. I lump those 3 together in my mind.

I never had Grov los, so I can't comment.

Get a bunch. I like most. Def get: grov, gen, roda, gr, fint, and more gustavus, kronan. Heck, get them all. There aren't that many.

      Probe is my fav too.

I'd love to get a bunch to try, but sadly I'm limited to $20 each order and I have no fridge, so I have to use them within a couple weeks. I can budge a dollar, maybe two, but my lack of income at a military school really limits spending. Besides, without having a fridge a lot would just spoil and wouldn't taste as fresh.

I think I'm going to order:
        Ettan Original Portion
        Grov Svart
        Ettan los
        Grov los
        Roda Lacket los
        Göteborgs Prima Fint

Total would be roughly $21 from Northerner, and I'll probably place it next weekend.

I'd drop either the Roda, or the Prima Fint, and replace it with Gotland Yellow, or General. I heavily favor the Gotland, but either is a good diversion from the flavor profile you have there. The Roda and Prima are fairly similar, and neither is excellent imo.

I've found I don't really care for citrusy snuses too much. I even think Grov has a hint of citrus in it, but it's not the dominant flavor that I pick up, so it's enjoyable for me. I used to worry about burning out on a particular type of snus, but I've been going strong on Ettan for a bit now and it hasn't let me down once *knock on wood*. It may change later, but that particular flavor profile is something I thoroughly enjoy.

From what I gathered Prima and Grov all have a rich tobacco flavor; Roda is more fruity. I completely missed Gotland Gul, though, and will have to find a way to nudge that in. I'll have to roll a d6 to figure out which to drop since they all sound so good.

Oh, if you don't like citrus, you might want to stay away from Gotland Yellow. It has a fairly strong citrus flavor. I don't find Roda Lacket los to be fruity. It's a good bit different from the portions in my experience. Gotland Grey has a nice anis taste, but that's not everybody's cup of tea(it's one of my favs though).

Ah, thanks for the heads up then. I loved the anis flavored snuses, but I used them nonstop as my only flavor for a while, which burned me out on them. I'm sure in a month I'll find them enjoyable again, but I think it's best to wait a bit. I've been trying not to make the same mistake with Ettan so I've alternated a lot between Grov, Lucky Strike, and Retro to keep things mixed. I figure I should do the same with los.

I think I'll stick to the original list for now and see if I like those. If something was a little less than what I expected I'll switch it up in the next order. Now to avoid ordering out this weekend and remembering to go to the mess hall. Pizza and Chinese food are delicious, but free food is free.

So the Ettan is a good los? I like the portions and as I'm just getting into los I was thinking about putting a can or two of los in my next order. I guess I'll at least throw in a can of ettan. Hey what system do you play cod4 on? If its the 360 I'd gladly hand you your ass sometime on there

If you don't like Citrus, then you probably wouldn't like the Gotland Gul, Phantom Classic, Granhit, or General for that matter.

At some point, I recommend trying Goteborg's Rape and/or Phantom Blue loose. They have a flavor profile I've found nowhere else (Juniper). I remember the Gote Rape is still pretty mellow, while the PB is a little sweeter.

Mainly on the PC. I'm only halfway decent on the 360. They're two totally different animals.

I'll probably place the order sometime next week. Hopefully the shipment arrives well before I leave for Spring Break. Woo! Spring Break!

Do it. I don't think you'll regret it. Ettan loose is wonderful. I used to like Ettan portion a lot until I tried the loose. After that, I just couldn't go back.

I am one of the few here that can't stand Ettan. I know, I'm a tool...sorry.

I will second on the Rape and General though. Those are good, but haven't had them in a while.

I believe I saw a Grov Svart on your list? Favorite portion right now. Their los is just okay though for me. I would love the Svart flavor in los.

Right now, I'm allll about Skruf Stark los. But that is a strong, so not sure if you would like that or not.

I serisouly wish they made the Rape 2 in los...think I would be in heaven.

Not everyone has to like Ettan, it just happens to be a popular one it seems. I tried Göteborgs Rapé #2 portions, and they were good, but found it wasn't really my thing. It was too flowery for me, same thing goes with Skruf.

Now that I think about it, I think I'm one of the strange ones on this board that's found something they like and generally stick with it.

Goteborgs Rape no. 2 is one of those that I frequently forget about, but I really like it on occasion. I'm a big fan of lingonberry. Preserves on wheat toast is tremendous.

I went through the period of trying a shit ton of different brands when I was first getting into snus, but I quickly got to the point where I found my one or two constant brands. I've got my favorite loose (Ettan) and my favorite portion (Knox). Those are my only roll orders. I'll also usually throw in a half roll of Grov loose, which ranks a very, very close second place to Ettan on my favorites list. If I had to, I could easily go the rest of my life on only those three brands with no complaints.
