Well, it happened. I made my first pris with the PrisMaster just a few minutes ago. Göteborgs Rapé was the snus of choice. The snus is a lot firmer than I had imagined. But the flavor .. instantaneous! And I'm getting a nice buzz from the get go.

I think I made the pris a bit on the large side. I have a fat lip right now :lol:

I'll attempt to make the next pris a bit smaller the next time - afterall, I am at work. I better dump the pris before my meeting at 10am (10 minutes from now).

I use about 3/4 of a prismaster, then handbake it a bit to make it thinner, So I guess I use about a protions worth of snus, but it is fatter in my lip.

I voted about the same as a regular portion, though it's a touch smaller I think. I use 2 clicks on the 3ml IceTool. That gives me a nice amount of snus, and no fat lip.

Ditto. Perfect amount. Sometimes I'll use 2 and a half clicks. I find that anything longer than that tends to avalanche a bit at the back after a while.

Larger than a portion. A full Prismaster's worth, with overlap. But that's still not as big as I've seen many here make. The lump is not noticeable.

most of the time it is bigger then a portion sometimes I slap a huge pris in and look like a beat up boxer. I swear the left side of my lip is streched because a los pris looks bigger on the right side. :lol:

I just lost my los virginity, too. I'm definitely having issues.

Condor was kind enough to hook me up with a can of los Gotlands Julessnus, just got it today. It's really moist and pretty tough to get a pris to stay together for more than 20 minutes. I've been reading around the forums and it seems like forming a pris with gotlands is quite a bit harder than other brands.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated =)

With Gotland, keep the pris on the smaller side. It's kind of tough to hand bake, a snus tool makes it much easier. You can get a syringe from the drug store for about 25¢. Cut the end off that, and use it as a makeshift IceTool. That'll give you a tighter pris, and it'll be easier to control.

It doesnt matter what snus I use... I typically have quite a bit in there.

With 8mg snus I usually load up 1/2-3/4 of my 5ml icetool

With 16-17mg snus I load up half of my 4ml tool.


Either way you dice it, I look like a shitty Elvis impersonator.
