I just switched from mini's to regulars today. The timing for the arrival of the snus couldn't come at a better time. A little before the mail got here, i put in my last portion of ld mini (all i had left after that was shitty camel mellow) and sauntered to my mailbox pissed i wouldn't get it. Thankfully, my snus came!

I got in the package:

Phantom blue (2 cans)
Ettan
Goat Rape no. 2
Skruf (2 cans)

The first kind i tried was skruf. Damn. This stuff is great! The rose accented taste really has me loving it. Now i know why so many people use this stuff. I got a pouch of ettan in. So far, the taste isnt coming through but ill update the thread with reviews of all 4 kinds later. I actually didnt know i ordered 6 tins. I bought all of em when i was drunk as hell and thought i only ordered the blue and skruf.

Wow, I could not imagine being down to six cans. When I used dip, I bought two rolls (twenty cans) whenever I dropped down to ten in stock. Since switching to snus, I have just continued to stockpile it. I am guessing I will have a twenty can reorder threshold.

Ettan: Its okay but nothing stellar. Needed a more prominent flavour.

Phantom Blue: This is easily the best thing ive tried in my entire life (aside from illegal drugs in my wild days that have gone by. Sober 1 year in march! woooo!). This tastes great. Since the price is so damn low, im gonna order an entire roll! Tastes just like the tea i drink each morning. I cant wait to try this with my cup of morning tea tomorrow.

skruf stark gave me the best "buzz" I've gotten since starting to use dip/snus in earnest. took me quite by surprise, actually.

Just tried ettan again. The citrus is very mellow but im tasting it more now. I can tell this stuff is going to be a favourite of mine by the time the can is gone.

ville123, welcome to the wonderful world of snus and you are learning one of the most important lessons. Never judge a snus by first impressions. Even snus you hate, try it again in a few months, you may come to love it. And be prepared to stop loving snus you thought you did. I find this can be especially true if you overuse a snus. Some people can keep using the same few forever. But me, I will come to hate it in short order. Why, after searching and trying things for 2 years, I keep a stable fo about 20 different snuses.

I am glad you are coming to like Ettan. It was my first ever snus, so it will always have a warm place in my heart.

Skruf Stark loose was my first Swedish snus, so it has a special place in my heart. I had a pris for the first time in a while yesterday. It was very tasty, a lot like the first time I had it. While not one of my favorites, I like to order a can now and then to pay due homage to my beginnings.

Get your Skruf on.

for anyone transitioning from dip try mixing skruf stark with your dip.

Copenhagen and skruf stark makes me misty eyed.

Skruf stark loose never fails to satisfy. Always has that fresh earthy taste. I love it with a cup of coffee.

The did pretty good matching that flavor and tingle in the white portion version.

I like skruf but for some reason it gives me a headache. None of the others i've tried do. strange.

Ettan is just a straight tobacco taste. Not even that salty. Sometimes it's a nice change.

Goat no.2 : This is unique. The lingonberry flavour is interesting. Cant tell now if i like it or hate it. It will probally take half a can to tell. Its like if a cranberry, razberry, and strawberry had a baby, it would taste kinda like it.

I may be in a minority of one, but I get a distinct bluberry/blackberry flavor out of Skruf Stark portions.
