As far as pepper goes there's very little that I've noticed. I too have gotten a hint of lemon and citrus in it, but that's probably also from the higher salt content and because I was used to Ettan. Face it, after Ettan damn near everything tastes saltier and citrusy. Not bashing on Ettan, lord knows I love how mellow it is with a nice sweet smokey undertone.

I just cracked open my first tin of Lucky Strike yesterday while I was making a 3-hour drive back home. So that's the first issue; opening the tin wasn't as easy as running a fingernail around the edge. I was already 'jones-ing' and driving at the same time, so my patience was thin enough. But I found a pen to crack the seal and managed to not get killed in a car accident on the freeway. So far so good.
So I then pried open the top to find... hmm? There's a "freshness seal". Tres cool. I managed to get that off too without killing myself. It must've been my 'lucky' day.
I put in a portion (original, btw) and kept waiting for it to juice up enough to taste. After a few minutes of getting nothing, I pulled the portion down with my tongue, wetted it a bit, then smashed it against the roof of my mouth to squeeze out some flavor. Snus Fail.
I choked. It was a bit more potent than I was expecting. Note to self: Don't do that anymore.
Anyway... after using LS exclusively for over 24 hrs, I feel I can comment.
I REALLY wanted to love this snus. Really, I did. I imagined this would knock Pall Mall from it's #1 position. Sadly, I'm not sure it makes my top 5.
The flavor is actually really good. For me, though, there's something in it that causes my throat to tighten to the point that I choke unlike other snuses (what's the plural of "snus", anyway)? It truly reminded me of my very first Oliver Twist. The flavor is good, but the overall experience isn't as enjoyable as others have been.
Finally... the can kicks ass and I will likely use it to carry my daily supply of other snuses going forward. Well, unless I can get someone to buy an empty one on eBay for $2.

the fact that making the portion juice made you sick is what makes it good in a way, because normally you can toss it in and wait and reliable nicotine/juice will flow without your input.
I think I might have latched onto it because of that(being used to dip). if you want to give it another go, I would say learn to really "toss it in" and not mess with it AT ALL. That's a habit I already have, but I know that some fiddle with their tongue and press their lip on it often. It's certainly not the best portion for the proactive snuser.

I just had my first Lucky Strike Portion, and boy is it good! My friend used to Smoke Lucky Strike Cigarettes, so I was curious.
The can is awesome. It peals away to leave you with a flat black color and a classy can for display.
The smell does smell more like cigarette tobacco than most snus, and the salt content seems slightly lower, but that could just be my dry mouth speaking.
The taste is divine, finally the tobacco taste I was looking for a snus!
Thank you Lucky Strike!
Trying a Roda Lacket right now but find LS and N&J more exciting.

by GuestHeadquartered in Malmรถ, Sweden, Fielder & Lundgren is probably the oldest snus manufacturing name in Sweden. Started as a company in 1835, F & L's history has been full of name changes but one thing that has stayed consistent thru out it's 175 year existence, is it's commitment to producing quality Swedish snus.
Even though the company was started in 1835, it was Samuel Fielder who applied for permission to manufacture snus in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1785. Today, Fielder & Lundgren produces-
