I buy rolls of the snus I like. I got many of them through free shipping deals Buysnus has had. When you buy snus by the roll, about 1 tin is free. You pay for 9, and get 1 extra.

I'm glad I have snus stockpiled, because I don't have money for snus anymore... I barely have money for food :^/ I also have small stockpiles of snus that are no longer available(Landströms, Gellivare, Metropol Pepparmint, LD Blue). If I had bought single tins, they'd be long gone :^)

I've got 43 cans stashed away, mainly General Ekstra Sterk, with a few tasters here and there. Soooo tempting to go overboard when you order...

Thanks for reposting your reason sage... I confess I do not have time to read every thread.

I guess it is simply a matter of mindset. As a recent ex-smoker, I can see the benefit of having a carton on hand, but multiple cartons hiding in a freezer is a bit... odd.

That said: variety of taste, problems with importing/customs, and potential economic downfalls all seem valid reasons for setting up an emergency stock. Once I establish a "favorites" list, perhaps I will order mulitple rolls and join you in the filling of the freezers! *till my wife kills me*

FYI, almost none of that was rolls. Other then Elyxr, and occasionally something else (Thunder recently), I don't do rolls. But I have between 20 - 25 snuses that I like much. So ordering 3 - 4 of each, well, you can see how that can get up there. My most expensive order ever was $199.37. Typically, I spend between $100 - $125 on an order now.

There is this wonderful comfort that comes from opening the freezer and seeing it stacked with snus. I also never know what I want, so try to keep as wide a selection around as possible. Why I now will order when I have about 20 left, as that usually means I only have 1 left of each one I like.

It's not really my intention to "stockpile" snus - it simply makes solid economic sense to buy in bulk.

You see, I first began buying Swedish snus from a local tobacco shop - it had a total of 3 choices at ~$6 per can, after taxes.

By ordering online, I can reduce that to $3.50 per can... OR I can order by the roll and occasionally take another buck off each can.

So yes, it may be excessive to have 50 cans of snus on hand. On the other hand, it won't spoil any time soon, and I can feel good about having saved nearly $50 through smart purchasing decisions. In these times, every little bit helps.

i didn't intend on getting so much so fast. when i first started i ordered a large variety to find out what i like. then i got a deal on 3 rolls. then there was the kardus. the kardus shipment had some troubles so the company i ordered from sent me 6 free cans to apologize. then the Nordströmmen Loose Limited Edition came out, and i had to try the thunder. i am starting to zero in on what i really like saw how cheap ordering 3 rolls would be, and pulled the trigger. see it makes perfect sense. i tend to over do new things until i find what i like. after that i tend to settle down a bit. you should see the collection i acquired when i started classic wet shaving.
