I speculate that the novelty of snus has proven long lasting in the USA. American dippers have quite a bit of variety to choose from and most stick with one brand/flavor, I certainly did. I have more types of snus in my freezer that I have not tried than ones I have tried. I expect I will settle down to several favorites after I have tried them all.

Another issue with portions is the different strengths. With dip, or los, you adjust strength by the size of the pinch/pris. With portion snus, I start with a sterk or E/S and switch between regular and sterk throughout the day.

I am moving on my second month of snusing and I predict General ES and N&J Original and Claq Qui will be in regular rotation. I expect a couple of regular strength favorites to emerge, maybe the regular strength versions of the above, and I will be very happy with that.

Even though snus is a typical Swedish tradition, there are actually a couple of competent snus producers in the neighboring country of Denmark. AG Snus is owned by Assens Tobaksfabrik, a tobacco company with more than 150 years of experience in the tobacco industry. Five generations have perfected the production and manufacturing of tobacco products. ...
