Granit... WTF, why didn'g I think of that

Holy crap ladies and Gents, I have to say that my snus adventures that started a couple months ago have yielded some amazing discoveries in the flavor department, but there have been some of these hidden snuses that just make you wonder why they are not talked about so much more often.

My newest discovery is Granit los, Can't speak for the portions, but his los is an amazing flavored snus. my guess is that all will recognize the chocolate aroma and weaker chocolate flavor that is predominate along with the very subtle flower flavor, it is not a stark so don't expect some out of the norm nicotine burst. But if you are almost out of money and in need of snus, this might just be the one. It is different than cheap los though. Not like knox with its overly sweet flavor, not like LD or Gustavus with their salty and flowery flavor, just smooth period, smoot is the best description. I bought a roll of it simply because I was out of funds and I am glad I did, this is the best... BEST low dollar snus available, if you have not tried it, do so on your next order, you can hold me accountable if you dont like it... wait, better yet, send me your extra cans if you dont like it. I have a feeling that if everyone tried it, it would be close the the fan favorite budget snus.

This stuff is better than many top shelf snuses.

I agree. There's nothing low budget about Granit. It's better than anything Swedish Match makes...

Not sure it's better than anything SM makes, but it's definitely my main budget portion. I bought my first roll this month and I love it.

Are you referring to the regular kind listed here (portions, linked)? I know that you can't sum up most snus tastes in just a couple words, but I did not know if there were other kinds of it, since this one is just listed as "Tobacco flavored".

It's just the one flavor, lös and portion. It's has a General type flavor, but better.

Granite's good stuff. When I first tried it, it reminded me of General but with a stronger flavor. As I used it I started to notice that it seemed a bit more citrusy. Granite, General, and Phantom Classic are the three snuses I've had that I would put into the "generalsnus" flavor category. Personally, I like Phantom Classic loose the best, but all three of them receive a high rating in my book. Nothing quite like the classic taste of tobacco splashed with citrus and blended with hints of pepper. It's fun to see the different renditions on this classic theme.

I guess I am one of the few who doesn't like Granit. It does taste like a stronger General, which is probably why I can't get into it. Strong General=Onyx to me, and I dislike Onyx.

I might order the los one of these days, though; as I've never bothered to try it after the impression the portions left...

I'm not a fan of it either. It's not bad but why waste time on snus you only tolerate?

I loved the Granit portions when I tried them. I agree that Granit tastes like a stronger General.

I had the los in my freezer for almost 8 months. The reason: I purchased a lot of what I would call "standard flavored" los at the time. I had a hard time differentiating between this group of standard snus. Besides, I enjoyed the other more flavorful/textured snus from SM at the time: Probe and Ettan. I would still give them the thumbs up over Granit. About 2 day ago I pulled out the Granit and was quite satisfied with its flavor and quality of it's container. The snus was quite good and not overpowering, so yes I give it the thumbs up for a lower-priced General equivalent. Alas, it is only a snus that I would keep around for something different to try, unlike the General line of los that I am not willing to pay for. But, if you like the "standard flavored" snus this is the one. Since I am usually a portion guy I might try Granit portion if it is available. It might be as good as Retro which is by far the best portion out there, especially if you use it while drinking beer or coffee.
